Ok I take Precious is a dog right? I just had to figure that out! lol

Well I like to watch movies, read (quite a bit), travel (when I can afford it) and also listen to music.

The most recent movie I went to see was Men In Black II. My friend in Germany and I went to see it Friday evening after a day in Frankfurt. Luckily she lives in an area of Germany with many Amercian bases, so we could go and see the english version. Because otherwise all the movies are dubbed in Germany. Here in Denmark they luckily don't do that, they only subtitle them, which is much more better in my opinion.

Oh by the way, I do also have a pet, and it's a cat named Samson. He's however not living with me, but is on permanent vacation at my moms place. He's born there and since I live on the 5th floor, and he can't run freely, I've put him there so she can roam all that he wants in the open. But hopefully someday I will live a place where he can run outside as well.

Hi Silver Sea. Welcome to Lit. Good to see another Canadian. Yes I love baseball and I go to allot of Jays games. I get tickets from work and I have to admitt I use mine. It was great last week teasing Canadian when the Jays were kicking butt. Now I have to wait and see what he says about them losing last night.

What about yourself are you are Jays fan or a Leafs fan?

I'm a sports fan but when given the chance I most definitely root for the home team. The leafs made a good run this year. And those Jays... they're holding their own lately.

...and I agree, always nice to see Canadians on the board. As for welcoming me to Lit. Thanks, I guess you could say I'm back... kinda old member, but new again.

Just popping in to say hello and see how you are. I had a pretty good weekend, went to see my new great nephew. He was born Wednesday... about 10 days late. They were talking about inducing Mandy, but when she got to the hospital she started having contractions. He was eight pounds, I don't remember how big. And he's cute as a button.

I understand what your saying about your cat. It would be hard for her to go from having allot of room to play and walk to living in an apartment. I think it is so very sweet of you to think of her needs like that.

Yes the Leafs did make a good run this year but I am afraid that is all for them. When they lost Cujo they lost a huge part of the team. I think they should have gotten rid of that goof Tucker. He hurts the team more than he helps.

Not having been around many babies in my life, I'm a little in awe and intimidated at the same time. He is a little pink punkin' and we think he's gonna be a big boy, too. Only five days old and he has huge feet and hands (by comparison).

Work will be getting more and more stressful over the next few weeks. Annual Inventory is the weekend of 23-Aug. (I think I told you that already???) Anyway, preparations for it always stress me out. Being the relative "new kid in town" I feel the need to show an improvement each year. This will be my third inventory since taking over and I want it to be right this time. It's getting a little easier, last year I was a basket case by the 4th of July.

Haven't heard much since that first weekend about the house, although I did see someone get a flier out of the box this evening.

hehehe... maybe I should put some boat fliers in there, too

I'd love to talk, if we can work it out.

LOL. No I won't be like that. The Jays have been playing well and they did win another one last night. I can see why you are getting so wrapped up in them.

I just got the tickets last Friday for Puffy. I saw them on muchmusic last month and they said they would be here touring Canada. They have a great sound even if I don't understand most of it. Actually I have 2 extra tickets if your interested. Some friends were suppose to fly in from up North but Penny's sister had a baby and they can't make it.

The assistant is working out just great. She has picked up everthing so quickly. She has even worked out a new system for shipping which was always a headache. That department was a total mess.

Yes I think MIB II was funny as well. It have many great lines, and Will Smith is a rather funny person I think. What kind of movies do you like to watch yourself?

It was hard for me to start with not to have my cat in my apartment, since he was good company that often spent time on my lap when I was watching TV on the couch, and he also slept by my feet in my bed.

But it my opinion my needs doesn't qualify that he's bored when he's in my apartment, so that's why I did it. Now if it was all he had been used too, it wouldn't have been to big a problem after all though.

Hi ShyGuy, so nice hearing from you. I watch a wide range of things. I love anything with Meg Ryan. I also am a big history buff so anything along historical lines I enjoy. I watched Enemy At the Gates last night and it was wonderful. Have you seen it?

I think it is so sweet that you put your cats well being before your one desire. So many people would have just thought about what they wanted and not what was best for the cat. I think that shows what a warm heart you have. Some woman will be very lucky to have you in their life.

Well have to get going meeting Carrie for our morning coffee.

Hmmm, let me just fire up the boat and sail up there to the computer show. Wouldn't that just be a hoot!

I'm trying to keep the stress level under control; it does get easier each year. I just don't like all the inventory discrepancies that are cropping up. I had a talk with my boss today and he said he's just been having a little fun ragging on me about all the adjustments and not to worry too much about it. He knows how daunting it is to keep inventory right with the way things are set up right now. He's more into getting a good clean count this year and starting fresh.

I'll probably be in and out this weekend. I would like to spend some time on the boat but I also want my Lit fix.

Yes, the live-aboard WILL have a telephone connection so I can stay online!

We just HAVE to figure out when we can get together to talk some.

Well have to get going work is calling.

My immediate manager is the corp. CFO, he will be there and the data entry clerk. I have a staff of three including myself and the Sales department will have at least three counting the appliance warehouse. Construction and service are responsible for their rolling inventory (trucks) and our main and service line sub-contractors have to count the inventory they have signed out in the field. All in all I will have quite a bit of help, but as warehouse supervisor I am ultimately responsible. I will have been with the Authority for 4 years in December and this will be the third inventory I have been in charge of.

I guess a car would be an easier, and faster, trip... but not as much fun I would ultimately like to retire with a big sail boat and just travel at my own pace, when and where I want to. To "sail on the winds that our forefathers harnessed before us".

I'll be around Saturday. Do you have any time in mind?
