kind of long but hears the short of it. It came from Ireland and was celtic. They wore custums and put out food for the souls of there dead that walked the earth on that night when the havens and earth where the closest. Then the church got involved and try to stop this practice (thats how it got the Hallow part of the name) but gave up and just kinda changed it over to the practice it is today.

Huskie, no my butt is fine for now at least. It has been pretty warm this past week. It got up to 18 on thrusday. Watching the news today I see I may need some extra padding on my butt later this coming week going to get down to 0. What have you been doing this weekend?

This was one I chose; funny thing is I had forgotten about it until last Tuesday, looked at my calendar and said "Damn, I'm off Friday!" Should have taken Monday though, it's Veteran's Day, banks and government offices are closed. I'm just burning up vacation days right now; company policy - can't carry over... use 'em or lose 'em. I've got two left.

I've been hitting the bars lately, trying to rejoin the land of the living. Getting a bit expensive though. I may soon have to choose between bar hopping and eating... LoL; course, I could stand to miss a few meals.

Gaming's been going well. Yes, actually I have been reading some good stuff. I finished Redemption Of Althalus by Eddings and then read the next book in the Voyage Of Jerle Shannara series by Brooks. Right now I'm reading Timeline by Crichton; it's really good.
