Hi Berkley. So nice hearing from you again. Hope you have fun at the air show. Try to relax and enjoy yourself you owe it to yourself.

It sounds like you were very busy with inventory and I know the stress that comes with tring to sell a house and move on. So just take it one day at a time and remember that someone out here is thinking of you.

You are so sweet. I feel guilty for being remiss in keeping better touch with you. I'm going to make an effort to try to touch base with you more often.

The weekend was great. I got to have dinner at one of my old hangouts on Friday night. I saw where my old homeplace used to be; the city bought it, moved the house and there is now a crater about 1000 feet across and 40 to 50 feet deep. This will become a raw water holding pond for the city's new water treatment plant.

Saturday I went to the airshow, saw some planes I'd never seen before and they had a good aerial display. In some instances it didn't seem to have quite the pizzaz of years past, possibly due to 9/11 and general aviation restrictions put in place since then. One pilot told me there is so much radio work, talking to traffic controllers, it isn't fun to fly anymore. I hope that eases up in the future.

Sunday I spent with my friend I was staying with, helping her get settled into her new place since she left her husband at the end of last month. We then went with another friend to have some good old time Bar-B-Que. To me there is none better than in Lexington, NC and I try to stop there whenever I'm up to get some.

Monday was a travel day and I'm playing catch-up and dreading going to work tomorrow.

It won't be that long before a vacation. I HAVE to take 5 consecutive business days before the Holidays. I think I'm down for the 2nd week in Oct.

Doin' good, Jade. How are you? I haven't seen you on in the evenings much.

My big weekend plans are to continue helping a friend move. It's a little over an hour from my place to her ex's, then about a 2 > 2-1/2 hr drive to her new home. I'm gonna be whipped and on top of that I'm feeling a little sick today, like I'm trying to take something.

this weekend's move session went pretty well. longer than I thought and I was too tired to come back home. I crashed on her couch. It's going to be an ongoing thing for a few more weeks.

Boat hunting is sort of stagnant... I stil have to sell mine to get into another, and I still have my eye on the 36' that needs a genset. Baring winning a lottery (which I can't bring myself to buy a ticket for) I think I'm going to need to stay in the $30-35,000 range. Of course with interest rates as they are;I could buy a $80,000 condo for the same monthly payment, but a condo don't float Wish I could get 5% money on a marine mortgage.
