Eiji hid himself withen the yatch, trying to clear his head. The hell was I thinking, almost loosing my temper right in front Yoshiro! Ever since I grew these... These wings, I've been been hot headed, and arogent! Well, I always been arogent but... Rrrragh!!! Eiji franticly rubbed his head, messing his hair up.

"I knew it was a bad idea to go on this trip..."

"Moon?"

Eiji looked up and saw his sister holding an cover. "What are you doing here?"

"Thinking"

Mai shook her head and sighed. She put the cover around Eiji and sat by him "Nice way to start an trip huh Moon?"

"Yeah..." Eiji said, chukling.

Mai after a few moments, Mai decided she should tell Eiji Tetsuru was looking for him. "Hey Eiji..." too late, Eiji was fast asleep.

"Eiji? Eiji? Ei... ji?"

Tetsuru's voice was getting a little hoarse. She dropped to her knees.

"Where did you go, Eiji? I'm sorry... I just... I j-just..."

She bit her lip and shook her head resolutely.

"Shit..." she muttered to herself. "I'm a fighter. I can take this." She got to her feet. "I may be nice, but I'm disciplined! I'm not weak... not weak..."

She continued to trudge onward, and then--

"Nice way to start a trip, huh, Moon?"

The voice was faint, but it was Mai's. Frantically, Tetsuru began to search, until she finally found the door that led into the yacht. She stumbled in on the sleeping Eiji and the surprised Mai, and then blushed.

"Oh! Um... I just... I wanted to... say that..."

She felt embarassed again. What if Mai was angry?

Tetsuru struggled against the tears...

Mai gave an weak smile. "Don't worry about it." Mai said suddenly, her eyes were closed as if she was asleep. She slowly stood up and brushed herself off. "But..." She looked at Eiji, who was sleeping soundly. "I'd sudgest we don't try to wake him up, he can be extreamly grumpy when he wakes up."

Tetsuru bowed her head.

I want to say so much to him... but I've already been selfish tonight. I won't wake him up.

"...alright..." She walked, or more like waddled, over to Mai and gave her a weak hug. "...I just wanted Eiji's attention... Lee is nice, but... I really do like Eiji... I didn't mean to..."

Tetsuru's lip finally began to bleed, she was biting it so hard...

I can't cry! Especially not to Mai! She's too young...

Mai looked out to the sea "...Its... understandible... I think, but I never been in love or anything, so I wouldn't know." Mai sighed. She was begining to like sighing, that scared her "If Eiji was in any condition to fight with Lee, he would.. But... Not even I know every emotion Eiji contains."

Mai saw that Tetsuru's lip was bleeding, she quickly grabed her hancerchife, and gave it to Tetsuru, smiling "You know you realy need to relax Tetsuru!"

Tetsuru held her hankerchief to her mouth. She sniffled.

"Thank you... for being so nice to me... I--" she halted to clear her throat-- "I hope I can make this vacation relaxing for both of you..." She cast one damp-eyed, longing glance at Eiji's sleeping form, and then buried her face in Mai's hankerchief, tears streaming silently out of her eyes.

Despite her tears, she didn't make a single sound.

"Don't want to... wake up Eiji..." she murmured, sounding dazed--perhaps she meant to think it. She wandered over to Eiji, emotion clogging her throat, and knelt down in front of him.

"S... Soaring Spirits...!"

Green energy crackled softly between her hands, and then receeded to a soft glow, which transferred to Eiji's body.

"Heal this boy's body, mind, and spirit with my love..."

Her bunched up emotions, incapable of escaping, were finally allowed a channel through her magic. She slowly seemed to deflate, leaning lower and lower, like a balloon losing air through a microscopic hole.

And after a few moments, she raised her head slowly.

"Th-thank you for letting me borrow this..." Embarassed at how damp the cloth was from tears, Tetsuru meekly handed the hankerchief back to Mai. "When Eiji wakes up... even if it's in the middle of the night... please tell him I want to talk to him..."

And she left for her room.

"We're making good time," murmured Yoshiro. "Very good time. I'm impressed with myself. No... my magic is no doubt augmented by all the powerful and disciplined spirits around me." He smiled. "No matter what the reason, we should reach Jameo in record time."

He silently leapt from rope to rope, his moves catlike for such a large human. He glanced around, the darkness hiding him but hiding little from him, and curious, he wandered to the cabin he knew to be Lea's.

What has she been doing in there?

Cautiously, he knocked on the door.

"Sepher beam!" An red shot went into the dark sky and dissapered instantly. "Still got it..." Sparrow muttered to himself, "But still.... I goten so used to being a nine year old, that I'm having trouble with my body... It will take some time, but I'll get used to it!"

Mai nodded as Tetsuru left "I will" she said softly, as she looked at Eiji. She sighed, again, "I realy got to stop doing that!"

"Doing what?"

Mai shot around and saw Milo "*phew!* Don't do that Milo! You scared me!"

"Heh heh! Sorry bout that!"

Tetsuru sighed and closed the door, stripping out of her bikini. She stood in the dark for a few moments, breathing deeply, and felt the world and her cares slip away.

She always looked forward to going to sleep. If nothing else, it was a psychological break from the worries of the day... of which she now had many.

And as darkness hid the features of the world, fantasy grew like shadows from the light of reality. She smiled and slipped into a pair of soft, plain panties she slept in, and tugged a short, translucent nightie over her chest and hips. Sighing as she almost physically felt weight lifted from her shoulders, she slipped into bed and leaned on one of her pillows, taking the other pillow and hugging it in her arms.

If reality was dangerous, fantasy was same, if used sparingly... but she needed it now...

She snuggled up against the pillow.

"Good night, Eiji," she whispered, kissing the pillow gently.

He probably won't wake up and come to me tonight... but he might... and I have to rely on hope. Hope that Eiji does want me... that someday he'll fall for me, or even if he doesn't, that I can just find SOMEBODY that gives me what I want...

Eiji norred softly in his sleep, "He sleeps like an rock..." Mai muttered to herself. Milo chuckled lightly.

"Hai..." Was the only thing he could say.

""What are you doing out here so late?"

"Just wandering..." He said looking out to the sea.

Lee et Rikku

IC: Rikku: I herd some knoking at the door. I don't stay up late when there is little to eat. I was lieing in bed a bit hungry but no more then I always am. I had been lieing there only a blanket over me. The door was locked.

"Who's there?" 'Yoshiro.' "Give me a second." I reached down to the pile of my cloths and picked up three things quickly. First was my bracelet and I wasted no time puting it on to disgues my feline features. Now as Lea I put on my white lace bra, and a pair of white panties with lil pink dots on it. "Okay I'm dressed." I walk over and unlock the door. I open it and stick my head out lookin from behind the door. "Yes."

IC: Lee: I was still looking out at the water. I have a slight delima. I told Tetsuru I'd ask her ut soon. I also told Yoshiro I'd warn him before I ask her out. I watched the waves crack along the boat. I can do them both still, I won't break like those waves.

It's to late tonight. Prehaps I should go to sleep. I looked up at the stars. Yoshiro knows alot about them. Was that night so bad? Nothing happened, I'm still fine. I flet fine there with him, until I woke. It's as if one half of me likes him dateing me and a second half dosen't. Either way we best avoid it on this trip.

Lea peered out from around the door. She didn't seem cold, but she didn't seem pleased, either. Was she making fun of him? Or pretending that what happened at the beach didn't happen?

It didn't matter. He just wanted to talk.

"Lea..." said Yoshiro softly. She's beautiful in the moonlight... I remember... "...if it's too late, I'll leave you be... but I would like to talk to you for a little bit... if I may."

Tetsuru snuggled deeper into her bed and sighed. I can't sleep, but Eiji's not coming, I know. I need to get to bed. I just need to be PATIENT, that's all. Tomorrow is a bright new day! If I can forgive and forget, I'm sure everyone else can! I--

She sensed someone walking towards her door...

Could it be... Eiji!?

Grabbing a white cotton bathrobe, she tugged it on and rushed out the door barefoot.

"Eij..."

Lee stood there, blinking in surprise.

"...L-Lee? Oh, I'm sorry... you m-must've been going to bed... s-sorry to surprise you..."

Blushing deeply, Tetsuru stepped back, bowing slightly.

"My apologies..."

Lee et Rikku

Rikku: 'I just wanted to talk. If it's to late I under stand.' "No feel free to come in and talk." I turned around and walked towards my bed. I needed something to put me to sleep and this will work just as well as a discusion with Lee. Thats why those two make a cute couple. But then they have that entire curse thing between them, I feel so sorry for them. But I'm trieing to help them by geting them togeather.

As the door opened I leened down showing of Lee's butt. I hope he dosen't think I'm tortureing him, but it's really for the best I can do for them. I'll have to be careful not to let Yoshiro get to involved otherwise he'll be thinking Lee's got a horable memory. Still it's not Yoshiros fault Lee is to people... not his fault at all.

Lee:

IC: Lee I was walking down the hall. I could see Yoshiro at the other end of it. I'll let him talk to Rikku. I don't want to seem overprotective of my sister especilly sense I promised to ask out his sister. Lee you need to stop giveing people your word.

The door next to me poped open. "Oh Jesus!" My voice was more suprised and startled then loud. "Tetsuru you scared me." I was holding my chest and now catching my breath. How strange I shouldn't be startled so easilly it's not like me. Even though I'm not the best psy I still have a very good grasp of whats going on normally.

'...L-Lee? Oh, I'm sorry... you m-must've been going to bed... s-sorry to surprise you... My apologies...' "You apolligised to me earlier today. Also you apoligised to me several times before. I'm not going to hold a grudge it's not in me." I look up at her and see that she is wareing a robe over herself. It's not bearly as flashy as she normally is. Prehaps there is a side to her I missed.

I closed my eyes. "Prehaps I should apoligise to you. I must seem quite cold at times. Today I asked you out with out meaning it. At your apartment I completely ignored you and was rude to your brother." My mind drifted back and a simple question entered my mind. "Dose he still have that hat?" That was a bit oftopic but prehaps we can end on a high note.

Mai saw Milo's sharp look as they were staring out into the sea. "Milo... Whats wrong, you've acted a little strange..." She quickly felt his forehead "You're not sick are you?"

"Uh... No, I don't think I have an fever..." Milo said, slightly blushing, his turned calm once again. "Its just... I had my fair shares of bad time in my life. Guess its just comming back to haunt me..." Maybe I should tell Eiji what happened all those years ago...

Eiji grumphed and turned his head to the other side.

 

[Jacobo_Curious]

Tetsuru smiled, the redness in her cheeks receeding. "What, the chef's hat? Haha! He brought it! You'll probably see it when he cooks breakfast this morning." She smiled wider. "It's always a treat seeing what he comes up with."

Then she bowed her head. "It's fine, Lee. I never held anything against you... and I'm glad you don't think too badly of me." She glanced up, flushing. "Part of it was me trying to get Eiji's attention... but to be honest, the other part was that I just like you." She stepped forward. "We ought to get to know each other better, Lee-chan..."

She leaned in and gently kissed him on the cheek.

"It's late, and we should get to bed, probably..."

Tetsuru glanced up at the stars.

"Though I didn't bring a clock on purpose..."

She smiled.

"Do you ever stop and look at the stars, Lee?"

Yoshiro walked in the room, head bowed slightly in thought, and glanced up from under his hair...

Lea's panty-clad bottom swished subtly forward until she stopped to bend slightly, stretching the thin, cutely colored material taut against her finely shaped rump. Yoshiro's hungry gaze drifted helplessly to the catch on her bra...

Aaagh! No! Mental slap of self! She's trusting me here.

Obviously blushing, the big guy closed the door, spent a couple moments exercising self-control over his physical reactions, and gestured toward her bed.

"May I sit down?"

Not that there's anywhere else to sit... but this is her private room...

Curious, Yoshiro glanced around.

Hey, she has balloons in her suitcase! How cute!

Rikku et Lee

IC: Rikku I sat on the bed after makeing shure he got a good sight of Lee's behind. I then sat down on the bed and leaned forward to give a shot of Lee's clevage. If this guy is a man, he'll be trieing for Lee again soon. Coarse he dosen't know that but it's up to Lee to tell him not me. I don't want to put any more pain on his life other then what I have done.

'May I take a seat?' He gestured over to the bed. I wiated a second and said "No." in a wicked voice. "You must stand while in my presence at all time." That should give him enough time to check the bust line. This actully seems quite fun. I didn't think I'd get a chance to start this early. "Just kidding. Take a seat at that corner."

As he moved to sit at the oposite corner of the bed I slide over to sit as far away from him as possible. If I make this two eassy he'll start off to far ahead of Lee and Lee's life will become worse because of me, not better.

IC: Lee: I looked up at the stars. She's like her brother. Or prehaps she is like me. "The stars... prehaps I've known them to long. They are old freinds of mine watching me for as long as I can rember..." I glanced down at her and then back up at them.

"The stars are the best kinda freind. They sit there and listen when you need to talk. The secrets you tell them are forever quept to there silent knowledge. Even when you want a rply can can gaze upon them and they answer, if you can simply hear there voice. Sadly though, I find it harder to hear them now. But they still listen and watch." Ever sense I was cursed I've had a hard time knowing what the stars are telling me. They still talk allright but I have forgoten to listen.

"Do you talk to the stars?"

Sparrow sighed and sat down. "Ship hit the emotional rocks today... I'll have to make an note to myself, don't hit on Tetsuru, If Yoshiro doesn't kill me, Lee would probaly knock me out... And I don't even want to think what Eiji would do!"

Sparrow laughed at himself "What am I thinking? I was trained in 125 different arts of fighting! But... I had never seen these types of fighting... I should be careful not to rush into an fight with anybody..." Sparrow slowly laid down in his bed "Oh well, tommorows another day, another battle. Or thats what dad always said."

 

[Jacobo_Curious]

Tetsuru smiled softly.

"No, I don't talk to the stars, but I think Yoshiro does." She bowed her head. "The stars are the first thing I remember, is all..." She smiled, though a little bitterly. "They remind me of the time Yoshiro and I would spend on the balcony of where we lived, before we came here..."

"No... I don't talk to the stars... but maybe I should try... they're beautiful..."

She looked up, holding her bathrobe against her, the cool breeze flowing past both of them and taking their tensions away as they stared at the night sky.

Yoshiro tried to hide his trembling hands.

Wh-what a body... nnngh! Gotta remember, not just lust!

He sat down, a little clumsily now.

"Well, if you'd rather I stand, I will," he said, rather nervously. "I, ah, don't mean to invade your privacy. I just..."

He glanced away.

"I want to apologize for what I said at the beach. It's true, though, that I don't know you very well -- but I know what I feel is more than mere physical attraction. I can feel there's something in your aura... it changes and fluctuates sometimes... but it always draws me in. I know I've never felt like this before... and no girl has ever seemed quite so beautiful to me as you do."

He smiled feebly and looked up, somewhat apologetically.

"I just can't... truly identify what I feel until I know more about you... you know?"

He scratched the back of his head ronin-style, embarassed.

"So... now might be late... but I just felt like I wanted to let you know that... I'd like to just talk with you. Whenever you have time, or feel in the mood... just to talk with me. I want to learn more about you, Lea... I want you to learn more about me..."

He looked up again, but this time, he had a joking smile on his face.

"And I want to be able to kiss you without there being any rules against it, while I'm at it!"

Eiji grumbled as he got up. Mai shot around seeing that Eiji was moving "Where are you going?"

"Bathroom" He grumbled as he left. He growled as he stumbled around looking for the rest room "Maybe I should just piss over the sea..." he muttered under his breath.

Lee et Rikku

IC: Rikku "I'm sorry about that rule." I wish I had a clue as to what the hell he is going on about. What kissing rule. Well it matters not this guy has the lust to keep after Lea no matter what Lee dose to stop it, but theres more then that to this I think they truelly understand each other. Prehaps if Lee shared his secret Yoshiro would understand comepletely but that is not my choice to make.

He may love Lee but he dosen't love me. So now is the time I should pull the plug "Tomorow we arive at Jameo. I came her to be your freind on this trip. I am your freind and prehaps in time maybe more. But tonight isn't the night that changes. Please enjoy what you have and be happy. Love takes time to bloom if you over water it, then it will wilt before it starts."

IC: Lee: She didn't know how to talk to the stars. Such a sad thing compared to her brother but still I'm shure she can do it if she trys. A breeze of wind comes by, it brushes her hair slightly to her side bringing a smile to her face.

I smile back at her. "You can't enjoy the breeze from here." I float up only a bit as if I took a step up a hidden stair case. I offer my hand to her. She thinks for a moment and takes a soft grasp of my hand. Almost efortlessly I float up into the air. My power lifting her she flaots just as eassily as I do. I land at the top of the mast on one toe.

I take her hand pull her geltle forward up to me. I give a little swirl to her flight and she turns faceing away from me but up against me just the same. Still holding her hand with one arm I gesture out in the distance to the riseing moon. I then wrap my arm around her holding her gently, as the wind passes by. "Now we have the full effect." I wisper into the blowing wind.

Tetsuru gripped Lee's wrist tightly for a few moments, but then relaxed into him, blushing as she looked up at the night sky. She felt the wind brush against her, cooling her burning face, and she sighed wistfully and smiled, delighted.

"Oh, Lee, it's beautiful up here!" she breathed. "How romantic!"

They way he held her, how she floated above the ground effortlessly, and how moonlight bathed them... she felt safer and more relaxed than ever before. She wanted someone who could enjoy things like this...

Wait, what am I thinking? Eiji can fly too! And Lee just doesn't have that silent type that attracts me. But maybe I just need to get away from the parts of my brother I love so much... maybe I need a different kind of guy, not so silent... and would Eiji have ever thought of this? Would he have had the nerve to try it?

Oh, what am I DOING?

But he's not trying anything. I'm safe. And it's wonderful up here. Lee-chan is a nice boy...

"Thank you, Lee," Tetsuru said softly, feeling the wind ruffle her soft bathrobe. "Thank you so much for this..."

"I'm so close to them... I think I hear the stars whispering..."

Yoshiro smiled and bowed his head, nodding.

"...thank you, Lea. I'm... very glad you still want me as a friend. And that... there is a chance for something more." He stood up softly, his handsome face brightened by a rare true smile. "You're a wonderful person, Lea. Please never forget that..."

L-Lea... I think I... I think I...

"I think I..."

Yoshiro glanced down.

"...better be going. It's late." He looked up again. "But thank you. I know now I'll be happy as long as I can talk with you."

And look at that butt!

Ow! Mental slap!

"Good night... Lea-chan. Arigato."

And he exitted.

Eiji cursed at the sky, still trying to find the bathroom "Damnit... Where the hell is that bathroom! I got to gooooo!!!" He muttered to himself, about ready toknock an wall or two down. He searched through five or six doors. but they were bed rooms "I don't needs an bed room, I need an bathroom!" He muttered out again, trying to keep his voice low.

He found three more doors, and finnaly found one. "Yes!" He quickly opened the door, and shut it behind him.

Lee et Rikku

Rikku: I lock the door once yoshiro is gone. I was the type that placed comfort before all esle. My comfort was telling me that cloths and fur dont mix well under covers. It's just to much heat no matter what I wear.

With that in mind I took off my panties and bra thowing them to the floor. in the pile. I then placed the bracelit up onto the desk. My disguise removed once again. I lied under the covers to sleep.

Lee: I held her close up there. She said she could hear the stars. I knew she could but why she began to listen now I have no clue. I felt a tear thinking of how I chose not to listen any more. It was a sad thought that deminished the beuty of the moon to me. "Prehaps now we can sleep soundly." As the breeze began to dwindle I slowly began to fly to the boat.

I set her down there and bid her adue for the night. "Sleep well, you'll need the rest to enjoy the trip." I will too. I will too. I began to walk towards the ships cabin, down into the hall and my sleep.

'You'll know when the time is right.' I looked up at the stars. I smiled once and then lower my head. The stars were right.

Yoshiro tiredly pulled his covers over him.

He felt at peace. He would have a restful sleep tonight.

...as soon as those images of Lea in her underwear would get out of his head.

Tetsuru stood in front of her door where Lee had left her, blushing softly.

He hadn't even tried anything up there... he could've done anything he wanted...

She bowed her head, smiling, and entered her room.

Sheesh! Now I have two cute guys that like me!

...well, one that expresses that he likes me and one who doesn't... sigh...

Tetsuru tugged off her bathrobe and clambered back into bed.

She felt at peace. She would have a restful sleep tonight.

...as soon as she could decide which guy to dream about.

In the end, she compromised, and took both. Who wouldn't?

Yoshiro and Touji stood, surprised, in the crow's nest.

"...you're good," managed Touji.

"How... how fast did we go?" sputtered Yoshiro.

They both turned... and saw Yamanaka in deep meditation.

There was a pause.

"I think somebody boosted my magic," whispered Yoshiro.

Touji stared at his little brother, and could only shake his head.

Yamanaka's eyes snapped open.

"Are we there yet?"

Yoshiro swallowed, scratched the back of his head.

"Uh... yes."

"Sweet."

Eiji sighed as he watched the sea, "Morning... The sun light, which means another day. *sigh* I hope this is an good one..." Eiji said to himself.

Sparrow stretched and yawned "I never wake up this early..." He said, streaching and yawning again. He shaken his foot trying to wake it up.
