Tetsuru glanced at the boy who had just removed his shirt. Say... he's kind of cute... who is he? Her brow furrowed. Wait... could that be... but how? I must be mistaken, he's way too old...

She and Momiji continued to chat quietly while Tetsuru waited for Mai to come out. Hopefully they could all have a nice girl talk... and it would be nice to talk with Lea for a while as well.

Yoshiro, having a good time teasing Touji? she messaged.

Heh, yup, her brother chuckled mentally. He's worse than I am.

Tetsuru couldn't help but smirk, seemingly at nothing. At least you admit it. Touji seems a bit oblivious.

Oh, he isn't... he just has to be a bit of a jerk to pretend he isn't shy. Reminds me of that character in that one comic, um, the one with the guy who turns into a girl with cold water... how he's mean to that one girl he likes because he's too macho...

Tetsuru remembered. Oh, Ranma? Yeah, fun story. I always wondered if a curse like that could happen in our world.

Yoshiro chuckled mentally again. Heh, yeah right. I doubt it.

Sparrow shook the water off his head as he was an dog. He put his shirt back on although it was still wet. "Oh well, never bothered me before!" He muttered to him self.

Eiji walked out wearing an white T-shirt, and light Ice blue pants "Man its hot out here!" Eiji said, he quickly found an spot (Away from the water of course) And laid down sliently.

Rikku et Lee

IC: Rikku: My room was across from Lee's, it made little difrence to me it just ment I could bug him more. Nothing wrong with bugging him either, if you look at Mai and Eiji you can see how siblings pester each other, so my bugging him is solely for his denifit. He wouldn't want me to act like I wasn't his sister.

I packed away my things. This is my first time in a boat like this. I'm quite intreged at this room actully. "This room is incredably large for how small it is." I sat on my bed thinking about it. "That made no sense."

I closed the door under my bed. I'm not shure about the other rooms but this one put the dresser under the bed and had a full length mirror on the door next to the smal vanity and dresser. I stored my specil gear in there.

I looked to make shure the door was closed. I thought about it for a few seconds and couldn't resist. I picked up this habit when my curse became bent not quite broken. I opened the door and pulled out a latex condom. I streched it a couple times and then blew it up like a ballon, tieing the end to keep the air in.

I began to twist and turn the inflated rubber from my pack. With a few twists and a couple turns I opened my hand showing a cat ballon animal.

I smiled to myself and looked at the door once more it was only two feet or so away from me in the intrest of conseving space. I stuck out left hand and picked up the animal with my right I gave anther wicked smile and began to dance the cat up and down my hand meowing. I was so happy with this animal the most life like one I've done so far.

I herd the door open in the hall and quickly opened the drower puting the used condom next to the pack. I don't want to explain that the condoms were free at the health clinic so I used them instead of ballons. No that would be my deep dark secret. I shut the door shut after puting my book Ballon Animals for Dummies in it.

IC: Lee: I was quite happy with the small liveing space. I'd expected as much and planed ahead. I wasn't going to do it every night but when the ski looked clear I was planing to use the sleeping bag I brought and sleep under the stars on the dock.

My room was quite nice drowers lined up on a dresser on one side. The small mirror crowned the dresser as well. I had my comb there as well as my tooth brush and paste. My cloathing was stored insde the wood object I had my sleeping bag under my bed along with my staff and sabre. The staff would be used for practice the sabre would be used to settle disputes between Eiji and me.

I opened my door and steped out in the hall I thought for a minute about checking in on Rikku but decided not to. I walked back down the hall and over to the stairs leading to the deck.

"...and personally, I prefer red fingernails. Goes with my hair. But I trim them short." Tetsuru smiled. "How about you?"

"I, uh, never got into painting my nails," murmured Momiji.

Tetsuru blushed. "Ehh... I must sound like a ditz then, huh...?" Momiji was surprised. I thought she would make fun of me, not get embarassed... Tetsuru recovered quickly, however. "Well, it's fun, though! Maybe later on I'll show you how to do it. I didn't bring much, but I can help..."

She turned to Eiji, who had just arrived, and smiled. "Hey, Eiji-chan! Get Mai to come over here and talk about girlie things with us!"

"Huh," murmured Tetsuru, "I wonder what Lea is doing?"

"Can't be anything too strange," said Momiji, shrugging.

Although it seemed that Eiji was ignoring evry thing right now, he was actualy comunicating with Cerbie Cerb, mind getting Mai for Tetsuru?

Sure, why not? Cerbie bolted down to Mai's room, and came back with Mai "Thank you Cerbie." She said quickly, as she walked over to Tetsuru and Momiji.

Lee et Rikku

Lee: I walked up the stairs to the deck I stuck out my hand to block the sun from my eyes. I looked around and saw Eiji was now back on deck there was Milo, some guy I don't know looks to be about 17, Touji, Yoshiro all spread about and then there was Tetsuru and a girl I thought I recanised probably from school.

Fixed on Tetsuru I let my eys wonder the best they could. For some reason after I saw Tetsuru do that first bounce way back when I've had a strange habit of leting her enter my mind as if some spell still was trying to take some sort of hold on me. Glanceing past her I looked at the other one. She wasn't drop dead gorgeus but she was quite atractive some how.

I picked up the bottle of sunscreen from Tetsurus chair. I walked over to the strange girl. "Your burning, please let me put some sun screen on you before you regret it." I have only her health in mind and also the fact that I'm curently availible.

Tetsuru glanced sidelong at Lee. Well, here he is now. Isn't he a gentleman... hmph! I wish Eiji was more forthright like that. Though I don't know... I'm attracted to the silent type...

Despite her thoughts, Tetsuru couldn't help feeling a twinge of jealousy as Momiji began to blush.

"Um, well, certainly, thank you so much," she said, embarassed, and handed him the sunblock. "If you could just... get my back... I'll do the rest..." Who is this cute boy? He's tall... I wonder if he'd do my legs too... erk! Her face turning slightly red, she leaned forward, her one-piece conservative but showing enough smooth back to be burned if no sunblock was applied.

Yoshiro nudged Touji, who glanced down... and his eyes widened.

Yoshiro shook his head. "Eh, you asked for it," he said quietly.

Just as long as that kid Lee doesn't start hitting on my sister! Damn, I'd be pissed if he went after Tetsuru. I admire Eiji's quiet style, but people going after my sister just makes me...

Yoshiro took another glance at Lee, thought for a moment, and sighed.

...okay, I really set myself up for that one.

He shook his hand and looked back up to the ropes, ignored the dumbfounded Touji, who couldn't for the life of him figure out why he was jealous. I mean, it's Momiji... she's just a friend... I've just never seen her hang out around other guys! Sure, she's cute... and modest... and smells nice... umm... but! She's not curvy or anything. I always thought she'd never get a guy, so... shouldn't I be happy?

While Touji was reeling mentally, Yoshiro was grumbling to himself. Okay, MAYBE I do... I mean, did... go after HIS sister, but still, if he messes with her...!

Eiji twinged a bit as he looked over to his side Tha hell is that dip shit thinking?! I swere he hits on any girl in his sight!

Sparrow himself looked over "What the hell is this guy thinking?" He muttered to himself as he saw all the other guys, except for Milo, flare up quite a bit. "Stupid, thats all I can say!"

More Lee

OOC: As I said in the ooc thread. Lee is actully hitting on tetsuru but doing a really bad job of it.

IC: Lee: Momiji fliped over. I glanced at her back. Strangely the back was quite atractive. I had to think only for a moment about how that is even possible. I then squeezed out some of Tetsurus sun screen SPF 45. I smiled to myself. "You know they proved sun blocks over 50 cause cancer. Kind of a strange irony don't you think?" I placed my hand on her back it was quite warm to the touch. "Your hot you know that." She looked back at me checking to see if she herd right. "I mean in tempature how long have you been lieing here? Better yet whats your name?" I began to slide my hands up and down the bare areas of her swim suite.

IC: Rikku: I lied in my room for a while before I was convinced no one would find my condom cat. It was such a cute little thing I was suprised I thought of it. I opened my door and made my way upstairs.

The sun imdeately hit me in my eyes. It was bright out, it would be very important to put on sunscreen if you don't want to get burned but I do not need it wth my thin coat of fur.

I felt quite nice right now the sent of the salt in the air the sound of sigales flying to and froe and the sight of Lee rubing sunscreen on a girl. Lee rubing sunscreen on a girl? I blinked not once but twice Lee is rubbing sunscreen on a girl!

"Damn Lee you work fast. I don't think I've even met this girl before." Lee turned to me with a look on his face, a look of question. 'What do you mean?' I wasn't shure if was serious or trying to be smooth.

Tetsuru bit her lip and glanced away, smirking. He's a cutie, and forthright, but he's TERRIBLE at small talk!

Momiji, however, didn't seem to make that observation.

"Ohh," she breathed, blushing at Lee's comment about her temperature. "Um, yes, I see..."

Yamanaka had clambered down from the crow's next, and stood next to his brother, staring down at Lee. "Dude, bro, is that the guy who came in second? He's messing with Momiji!"

"...I thought you didn't like her," said Touji, after a moment.

"Well, I didn't mean that," said Yamanaka softly. "I should've apologized, you're right... but... Touji... isn't she, well..." Touji gave him a hard look, and he flinched. "...one of your partners?" the younger boy finished timidly.

"I don't do that kind of thing anymore," said Touji curtly.

"You're jealous."

Touji spun, furious, to an amused Yoshiro.

"Come on, Mars Brother," said Yoshiro quietly, naming their newly created double-technique, "admit it." He scratched his chin. "You know, she's fairly good-looking..."

Thunk!

Yamanaka stared, stunned, at Touji's fist embedded in Yoshiro's abdomen. Fortunately, no one else seemed to be paying attention to what happened on the ropes.

"Sh-shut up," hissed Touji.

There was a pause, and Yoshiro raised his head calmly. "You could've hit me a lot harder than that, Touji..."

Meanwhile, hearing Lea's comment, Tetsuru stared back at Lea, surprised. Momiji looked incredibly embarassed as well.

"No, it's not like that," said Momiji quickly. "I'm not--"

Unfortunately, Touji had already heard Lea's comment.

Snarling, Touji leapt silently from roof and landed behind Lee. "Y... he mouthed, saying nothing, and then stopped. What am I doing? I don't own Momiji. He's not actually doing anything. What could I say without looking like a jerk or an idiot? And besides, the way I fought his sister in the tournament... Urhh...

His frustration and mounting anger glinting in his eyes, Touji laid a soft hand on Lee, causing him to turn in curiosity. "Lee," he said softly, tilting his head toward the sunblock bottle, "may I handle the rest of this? I'd like to talk with Momiji for a little while..."

Please, Lee. Please, please, please...

Eiji sighed Okay, this trip is getting a little too extream He thought silently, as he stood up and sighed. Lee's already pushing peoples limits!

OOC: Lee should tell Touji to go screw himself.

IC: I was still stareing at Rikku. I felt a suden tuoch on my shoulder and turned around Touji was there his style must be changeing a year ago he could never sneak up on me. He asked to finish puting on the sun block. "Shure go ahead. I just didn't want her to get burned and now I must talk to my... sister." I scawled at her.

"Okay I don't even know her name and you think I what?" 'Well don't you want go out with her?' "With a girl I just met wouldn't I like to talk first?" 'From how I know you no.' "Yea I would and I don't want to go out with her. I merly wanted to talk." 'Prove it.' I can do that it's simple just ask out some one. "Tetsuru lets go out." There I win the argument. I thought for a moment she wanted me to do this didn't she?

Tetsuru smiled softly. "Touji, it's okay," she whispered.

The reformed thug's blush of anger was evident, but his touch on Momiji's back is gentle. She's... really cute... I never realized until... "I'm n-not angry," he hissed. "I just don't... don't trust him, that's all. Don't want him... near my friends."

Momiji had been elated for a few moments. Had Touji really been jealous? But her spirits drooped. Of course, Touji would feel companionship for her... and he did call her a friend! That was a step! Still... she wished...

Well, at least his hands feel really good...

Meanwhile, Tetsuru was openly grinning at Lee and Lea's loud conversation. Most of the kids were, in fact.

"Okay, I don't even know her name, and you think I what?"

"Well, don't you want go out with her?"

Tetsuru covered her mouth, chuckling softly. Touji stiffened, and Momiji looked terribly embarassed.

"With a girl I just met? Wouldn't I like to talk first?"

"From how I know you, no."

Even Yoshiro, still in the ropes, burst out laughing at that.

"Yeah, I would! And I don't want to go out with her! I merely wanted to talk."

"Prove it."

Tetsuru shook her head. Reminds me of me and Yoshiro...

"I can do that, it's simple!" He thought for a split second, and turned to her. "Tetsuru, let's go out."

Time froze.

Everyone was quiet for a few moments.

And Tetsuru was blushing furiously.

A martial arts guy... asked me out? I wouldn't have ever imagined... and one of Eiji's friends? He can't be just some horny kid like the rest of the kids at school...

"Well, I-- Lee, I-- don't know you that well..." Tetsuru was stammering, a modest blush on her gorgeous features. "I'm terribly flattered, and you're a great guy, but--"

"DIE WHERE YOU STAND!"

"--oh, dear."

Yoshiro came hurtling down from the roof, roaring in utter fury... and was stopped by one smooth foot in his face, leading to one shapely calf, to a lovely thigh, to...

...Tetsuru.

"Hmph!" she said. "Yoshiro-kun, be good!" Tetsuru stood up, her bikini-clad figure bouncing slightly as she did so, and looked Lee up and down. Yoshiro lay there, collapsed and grumbling, and Touji helped him up slowly.

"Wellll..."

Could I... make Eiji jealous? Would it work? Aren't they supposed to be rivals? Would they actually... fight over me? Sheesh, I couldn't do that! I'd feel terrible...! But... Eiji isn't working for me. He just either doesn't care at all or assumes I'll keep chasing him. If I have to do THIS to get recognition, so be it! And if I don't like it, well, I'll back out.

Anyway, he IS cute...

Tetsuru raised one eyebrow and winked, smiling brightly.

"...let's try it out, Lee-chan."

Eiji flinched a bit, keeping every single once of his temper down. He kept his calm mood down completely You have GOT to be kidding me! Eiji thought, his temper very close to exploding. He took an vew breaths, doing every thing in his burning power to calm down..

Mai almost fell over, and Milo kept his calm as always. And Cerbie (Surprizingly enough) dropped his chew toy. Well there gos the love boat bull shit!

OOC: Yoshiro shouldn't be mad Lee will save some energy for him, ofcorase Lee would rather aviod that.... but he isn't writeing the story is he?

IC: I looked at Rikku. Did she out smart me? Yea she did. I can still out smart her by acting like I manipulated her...... how the hell do I do that? Okay act like you don't care she manipulated you or act like you to dumb to notice. If you trick her like that you still get some points.

"See, is that proof enough?" I put smile on my face. Up until this point the only thing that mattered was beating my female counter part in this arguement. 'Die where you stand!' I glanced up at a falling Yoshiro. I took a step forward so he wouldn't land on me and continued my arguemnt with Rikku.

'No it dosen't count till you go out with some one you've known longer.' "Well I made an attempt didn't I?" 'Actully she accepted.' I turned around to see Yoshiro lieing on the ground and Tetsuru standing there. My mouth opened in disbeleif.

She accepted? This is the longest romantic relation I'vve had.... except Yoshiro. I wonder if she advances like him.... oh no.... what if she dose? How do I go back now. What if we do something serious.... what if yoshiro dives at me upon hearing the news yelling death from above? Well come to think of it he just did that didn't he? Well one less thing to worry about.

Tetsuru smirked at Lee's expression. "Well, if you were just joking, then..." She grinned and tilted her head away, as if feigning to walk away. It was open flirtation.

Hmph! Suck that up, Eiji!

Then she saw Mai's expression.

Oh, NO...

Then she saw Yoshiro's expression. And she was terrified.

He was glaring, but not at her. Or at Lee. Or at Touji, who helped him up.

He was glaring, with burning fury, at Eiji.

I've got to salvage some of this!

Tetsuru managed a smile. "I'm just teasing, Lee. If you are interested, though, I wouldn't mind at all. I'm flattered that you asked..."

Please forgive me, Mai! Can you understand? No, she wouldn't, would she...?

Shit, I hope I haven't ruined this trip!

She glanced back, and found to her immense surprise that Yoshiro was gone.

Eiji was trying to hard to contain his fury, he barely felt the masked aura pattern before something invisible clamped over his mouth and dragged him away from the stunned crowd, all the long away to the opposite end of the ship.

Then Yoshiro appeared. And he was PISSED.

"You spineless shit," he snarled. "And I respected you, Eiji! You'd better do something before my sister does something damn stupid! Don't you see what she's trying to do?" He shook his head wildly, looking almost like he was about to froth at the mouth in fury. "She's willing to sacrifice this trip, which she was looking forward to a hell of a lot, to get your damn attention! I never thought I'd say this, man, but..."

"...start thinking with your dick!"

The hulking boy sighed.

"I can at least trust YOU to control yourself... that Anno kid..."

Eiji's eyes were closed, trying to hold something nobody had seen before, and it wasn't tears You don't know ... Nobody knows... Eiji opened his eyes, holding a dark gaze of purple, something withen his told that he wasn't himself

"You don't know how hard it is for me to control myself do you?" Eiji said sliently "I was raised to do one thing, and that is to keep my calm. I don't know how to react in this case! You don't know how lucky you are to loose your temper. If I could have lost my temper I would have damnit!" His eyes were now blazing.

Eiji closed his eyes and grolwed, letting the dark energy die down. "I completely understand what you are saying since I have an sister of my own, and I would rather not be arguing since Neither you or I would want to see Tetsuru sad..." Eiji trailed off as he felt an pressence near. Cerberus, what do you want?

Lee

IC: I listend a bit to Tetsuru but my atention quickly returned to Rikku. She walked down into the cabin probably to her room. I watched a few minutes to make shure she was gone.

I turned to Tetsuru. "I'm sorry Tetsuru. I didn't mean to ask you out there. I have nothing against you and I wouldn't mind asking you out and all but this so isn't the way I act." I looked at her and decided how to word what I was saying.

"I want to start this thing over. I'm not spontaneous like that normally and if you want to go out with me the least I can do is let you. So I'll ask you out once more when we get to Jameo. Weather you accept then or not is your choice. Think it over."

I walked off towards the side of the boat and gazed out to the ocean. I don't know why but a question came to mind. "Who's steering the ship?"

Yoshiro was silent. He backed away a step... and bowed his head.

"I'd better tend to the ship, Eiji..."

Tetsuru glanced down, blushing slightly.

"Yes..." she said softly. "...if you weren't just fooling around, I will have to think it over." She glanced aside. "I... I'm sorry... I just... fool around too much... and..."

She sat down, and felt strong arms wrap around her. "Y-Yosh-kun," she breathed, "I'm sorry I kicked you..."

"I'm sure he doesn't mind," said Touji, hugging her softly. Surprised, Tetsuru glanced back, and smiled at him.

Lee had stepped away, glancing up at the sky. "Who's steering the ship?"

"Me," said Yoshiro, quite suddenly sitting crosslegged on one of the railings. "I'm controlling the winds." He glanced into the water. "Sorry, Anno. I got carried away. It... happens..."

"Don't apologize, Yoshiro," put in Tetsuru. "It was my fault I didn't take Lee seriously, and worried you. I'm just..." She bowed her head. "...just a girl..."

Just a selfish bitch! How could I do that to Eiji? To Mai? To my own brother? I have to control myself! I just wanted Eiji to notice me so badly... my head filled with the images of a crusading Eiji coming to fight for my honor... and I have no idea what Lee thinks of me! And Lea went off somewhere...

...will I ever be able to look Mai in the eyes again?

Touji let her go softly, and pulled away gently. He turned back to Momiji, who looked at him expectantly.

So, of course, he plunged his hands into his pockets and watched away, pretending he hadn't noticed.

Sighing and shrugging, Momiji plopped down on her deck chair.

"Do you think painting my fingernails would do it?"

And Tetsuru laughed.

And finished her spell.

Mai, said the telepathic message, this is just a one way contact -- don't be alarmed. Mai... I'm... I'm so sorry. I... thought I could get Eiji to do something. I was too impatient... it... was selfish of me... I was hurting him for my own gratification... even using poor Lee, too, who's probably ashamed of himself right now... can you forgive me? I... don't even know if I can claim I care for your brother without being ashamed now...

She watched Mai out of the corner of her eye, hoping for some response...

Meanwhile, Yoshiro prodded Lee with his large hand gently.

"Say," he said, "if you're finished with my sister, can I start with yours?"

And he actually winked.

At least he mood was lightening.

Darkness fell quickly, much to Eiji's desire, that way he could look at the moon, the only thing he respected during the time. I wonder why Cerbie said nothing when he stopped Yoshiro and mines combersation? Eiji said slowly shaking his head.

"How did you get up here Eiji?" Said an familar voice, comming behind.

"I flew, what about you Milo?"

"Climbed." He said as he tossed an soda to Eiji. Eiji gave an quick glance over to Milo, then looked back at the sky.

"Milo... There is something about you you're hiding... What is it?"

"So you know?"

"I know you're hiding something, thats all..."

"I'll tell you soon enough."

"I won't pressure you Milo..."

"Thanks..."

Lee

IC: I had been gazeing out at the water. Yoshiro pocked me with his arm. Had his moves been fast I would of been defensive. For the last portion of my life I've been a fighter before anything else. I'm how old now and only been on one date. With a boy as well.

His taps were gently but firm. It's not the way he touches me when I'm Lea. It's over then but that dosen't seem so bad to me right now. 'If your finished with my sister can I start with yours.'

He was trying to lighten the mood a pretty good atempt but wasted at the moment. My eyes were on the sea and thats were my mind drifted to. "Look out there Yoshiro. The sea is out there. The see seems so predictable but even it suprises you every once in a while."

I sat there on my thoughts before contiueing. "The see is capable of many things. It can crush any foe and at the same time is considered a thing of beauty. It comands respect but it, treats all equally and camly. I long to be one with the sea. But for now I will simply avoid it's waters."

I turned to him, now with my full atention. "Yoshiro, I'm sorry. If I ask Tetsuru I'll warn you before hand. You deserve the respect my freind." My mind went back to why I asked her out in the first place. It was Rikku's fault she dose this sort of thing to me delibretly. Still I often have fun. "You know she made me do this. She planed on me asking Tetsuru out. She out smarted me or at least manipulated me."

"Even if the sea is calm on the surface, underneath, currents always rush in fury. The passage of the ocean cannot be denied..."

Yoshiro turned to Lee, and smiled slightly. He raised his hand slowly until his palm was level with his face, held it a foot away... and clenched his fist.

A spark of light, and a spout of water shuddered into the air out the sea from nothing.

"I know the power of Water..."

Yoshiro listened for a while more.

"One with the sea? Yes..." He glanced at Lee again. "I believe I know what you mean."

They both smiled softly. Lee's expression turned slightly grim. "Yoshiro, I'm sorry. If I ask Tetsuru, I'll warn you beforehand. You deserve my respect, my friend."

Yoshiro was silent for a moment. "...yeah." He wished that there was more he could say, to tell Lee how much he appreciated that... and why he was really protective of his sister... though he could never tell anyone that. But he managed a smile, and a nod.

Lee chuckled. "You know, she made me do this. She planned on me asking Tetsuru out." He shook his head, obviously a bit embarassed by losing the duel of wits with his sister. "She outsmarted me... or at least manipulated me."

Yoshiro frowned for a moment, but then smiled. "She's smart, huh?" He bowed his head. There aren't that many kids I know who get good grades. Most of the more academically inclined kids aren't fighters. "I have to admit... I like your sister a lot, but I don't know very much about her." He sighed. "That's why we... decided to quit for a little while. I'm not very happy about it, but... ah, well."

Meanwhile, Touji sat up in the ropes, staring up at the sky and fiddling with the sails. His younger brother sat loyally beside him, and both were quiet. Momiji cast glances to him every once in a while, to see if he was looking at her, but he never was. The rest of her glances were directed to Lee...

Tetsuru collapsed in her chair. She was tired. Night was coming -- they had been sailing for longer than she had realized. It took a lot way for people's tensions to fade away. Mai would probably go to bed soon, but Tetsuru hoped she would come over to talk with her and Momiji for a little while...

Worried, Tetsuru cast another glance back at Mai.

Mai sighed as she rolled up her towl "I hope Eiji can keep his cool during the whole trip... He is still recovering." Mai looked up to the sky.

"I never felt energy like that comming from him! I'm starting to think Eiji does like Tetsuru... but seeing that he grew up too fast made him skip a few emotions." Mai muttered to herself. She noticed Tetsuru made another quick glance. She had already heard what Tetsuru said, and had an answere, but decided not to say anything for the moment. You'll have to learn for yourself Tetsuru. Not even I can tell Eiji's emotions at the time...

It had finally grown dark, and Lee was still deep in thought at the front of ship. Yoshiro had stood next to him for quite a while, hoping if nothing else to prove a small amount of respect, before receeding into the darkness.

Momiji had gone to bed. Touji probably was still in the ropes -- nobody had heard him move, anyway, but it was too dark to see. Tetsuru, however, still lay on the towel, warm despite the faded light. She was feeling a bit better, and everyone seemed to be cheerful again... Eiji was gone, though, and she had no idea where he went. She was worried sick...

...how can I face him? What if he doesn't understand?

I told him, came Yoshiro's thought.

Tetsuru wasn't sure whether she should be humiliated or incredibly relieved. Y... Yosh-kun...

I may have shamed myself, Tetsuru, he continued. Eiji holds far more secrets than he lets out... I believe he is repressing his feelings for a far more important reason than we can yet understand.

Tetsuru shook her head. Brother, what can I do? My dreams are... Blushing, she stumbled over her thoughts. Normally she shared anything with her brother, but she just felt so terrible today that...

I understand, Tetsuru-chan. When I am with Lea, I can barely think about whether or not I love her... I know how lust feels, though perhaps not for a woman. He paused. I'm not so certain who Lee has, though... if anyone... be careful, Tetsuru. You are a lovely girl... almost a woman. Be careful of what you say to him... though I have little advice as to how to avoid hurting him somehow...

I'm nowhere near a woman, as I proved by my actions today, groused Tetsuru, but her pleasure at the compliment was evident. Thank you, Yosh-kun...

So saying, she got up and padded over to Lee. "Lee-chan..." She rested a soft hand on his shoulder. "Please forgive my actions. I like you very much, and if you did ask me to go out with you later, more seriously... I think I might accept again. But I have hurt some people, I believe, and I feel ashamed. I apologize, and I would like to talk... to simply get to know you better... but I need to go apologize to someone..."

She leaned in, kissed him on the cheek as gently as the breeze, and walked off, floating away into the darkness just as cleanly.

She looked around the ship, having reached the opposite end.

"Eiji," she called softly, trying to find his aura pattern and figure out where he was, "Eiji, can you hear me?"
