As for considering those days to be the BEST of my life,,, not a chance in hell,,, they were comfortable and easy going all in all, BUT the best is yet to come,,, otherwise why continue on with life.

Well said CW. :)

Xander, c'mon over to my side of the fence, we'll pick some roses together. ;)

Fore!!!

Life is like a game of golf. You hit good shots, sometimes great shots, sometimes ugly shots...sometimes you have a bad lie...and you somehow manage to hit the magical shot that strikes its target...sometimes you have a good lie and you dump it in the H2O...you must always play the ball where it lies. Your partners may change the courses may change but the challenge remains the same. Each shot is important--give total focus--enjoy the people--enjoy the beauty--don't focus on the hazzards. When you think you've mastered the game it will humble you.

I don't care for the sport, coaster, but the analogy is nice.

Aly, the brick shithouse thing never made sense to me either, that's why I put it there! :)

Okay, I'll only blackball H.S. in my own book, but at least there are people who seem to embrace the idea that it was only a facet, not the be-all and end-all of their existences. However, just because you were in high school didn't release you from the consequences of your actions. A couple of people that felt like that when I went to HS didn't live through it.

Can I plant roses in my layer of shit? ;)

I have been knee deep in shit before (literally speaking) and Rosebuds do not like it...LOL

Aww Rosie, okay, I'll change my garden just for you. I think I'll plant daiseys instead. Sound alright? :)

I loved highschool and I have lots of fond memories and the fact that I do look back and reflect what a great time doesn't make it sad. Would I do it all over again if I could, probably not because I would be missing out on the great things in my life right now. It's ok to be nostalgic about highscool, but if that's the only thing you have to hang on then maybe you should probably be doing something different with your life.

not after the sixteen suicide attempts and the one failed homicide attempt, it wasn't...

High school was awful. It was far from being the best years of my life; quite the contrary. I seem to have been in a kind of fog; rather anesthetizing. When I emerged from the fog, there was nothing but pain.

Things are so much better now, and keep getting better.
