High State Taxes....Low Unemployment?

"It is called 'Trickle Down theory of economics, pure and simple. See, when the richest have more money to spend, they will do so, causing a tumbling effect..."

Yeah, this bullshit was tried in the 80s by Saint Ronnie and it nearly broke the country.

Oh I know the deal.. I wondered what Captain Stupidshit had to offer

Jobs, Wozniak, Gates, Allen, etc, were college nerds that were all about the electronics. They had NO THOUGHTS about the military applications for their products.

Before Microsoft and Apple, even before Intel, there were semiconductors for electronic components who made a lot of fortune out of military applications. And btw: the internet was a military thing in the beginning.

And the explosion of electronics was not fueled by the military applications from the 60s and before that.

Don't forget the other RW "I'm in total fucking denial!!" from the 80's...St.Ronnies Socialized HC. They don't like to talk about that.....

According to who? Other than loony RW fringe idiots....they don't count.

Check out California's unemployment rate.
Fair enough. California has a disproportionate percentage of workers in residential construction, and as we all know, construction was hurt the most in the Bush Recession.

California's white collar worker unemployment is in line with the rest of America, but blue collar employment lags, primarily because residential housing was historically 24% of blue collar jobs in America and 32% in California.

And one year later, California has become a job creation engine. Unemployment has fallen spectacularly from 6.5% to 5.3% and in Orange County (the whitest county in California) the unemployment rate is 3.9%

California outpacing U.S. on job growth, unemployment falls to 5.3%

I like what Robert Reich had to say about this
Robert Reich said:
Conservatives are fond of dumping on California – claiming its high tax rates, high minimum wage, and stiff environmental rules are killing jobs. California’s own business-led Chamber of Commerce habitually labels laws that emerge from Sacramento “job killers.”

Well, it turns out California is leading the nation in the rate of job growth.

I wonder how things are in Brownbackistan (nee Kansas) lately?

Instead of wondering, why not look it up? http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2016/may/20/kansas-jobless-rate-dips-amid-lackluster-growth/

It stand at 3.8%

Brownbackistan is doing great....

Unless you want roads, schools and a retirement account
To meet this years budget shortfall they are cutting the classroom, moving money from the highway funds, and defering payments into the state employee's retirement fund until 2017. What makes them think that they'll have any more money in 2017? Oh, right, all those business rushing into the state to set up shop.

Yep, where are all those businesses chompin' at the bit to set up shop in Brownbackistan?

The answer: They're not coming.

I think he is the last person on the planet that believes in Regan's trickle down economics

Yup
The 1% has done a terrific job of sucking up the money, cutting their own taxes. Getting more government handouts and killing the unions and moving our jobs over seas! What great Patriots and Christians they are!

Now? Let's finish it by electing King Trump!! We'll suspend all our rights so he can fix things just right. It'll be great!
