Calvin Long leaned against wall and looked at his watch, "Dammit...what's taking so long. I'm gonna miss my plane if the dang shuttle express doesn't arrive."
With his briefcase in his left hand and his raincoat draped over his forearm, he paced the hotel entrance. Finally after another fifteen long minutes the shuttle arrived and pickup his luggage amongst the other guests leaving the hotel.
Calvin, a Defense contractor/engineer had spent the entire week at the Pentagon going over the fine details of the new military vehicle his company was prepared to build for the US Government. His company did the best they could in finding a nice hotel in close proximity of the international airport but Calvin ended up staying at a cheaper hotel because of a Global Pet Expo going on at the same time he was in town.
This Global Pet Expo and Show featured 835 exhibitors, 2,380 booths and more than 3,000 new product launches. There were 4,691 pet product buyers from around the world who were in attendance. Global Pet Expo is open to independent retailers, distributors, mass-market buyers, and other qualified professionals. This Show was not open to the public and therefore Pet Store Owners and their Managers went.
He was tired and had a headache. All he wanted to do was get on the plane, and sleep until he arrived home in the SF Bay area. He had one stopover in Chicago and didn't need to get off the plane as the plane was scheduled to head the rest of the way to the west coast.
As the shuttle swung in front of another hotel...he peeked out the window and saw an attractive woman carrying two ferrets in her arms.
