Hello! I'm supposed to remind you that FunGuy is an expert on planning family reunions.....just sayin'..... :nana:
It is almost as difficult as planning a wedding. We keep growing every year.

Well it beats the alternative I suppose. Growth is good.

BTW -- looks like we might be hanging out at yours and Dt's favorite Heights place tomorrow afternoon if anyone else wants to have a few adult beverages (or soda or coffee for folks like Bluebie)....sit around and catch up. Let us know.

What time are you going? May I invite myself if my plans remain cooperative?

I think we'll be there 3:30ish/4:00. We have to be home in time for the game though. No road trips, I promise.

No, but I'm sure you have the undying love of the gasoline industry!

Hey, are your imaginary monster friends still hiding under the bed?
Yes, and their arms keep reaching up from under the bed. It's scary.

*waves to everyone*

I haven't done a major grocery shopping in about a month, so I suppose it HAS to be done. I also have to find some kind of clever father's day gift for my father who doesn't need anything.

I started a thread for russell on the GB. It's his birthday. Those who remember him from the lit-togethers might want to pop in and wish him well. I spoke with him on the phone recently and he's doing well, just busy with work. He said to tell everyone "hi!"

yep.. we spent like $400 a day on gas for the three trucks we drove across country.. gas was like $3.35 in Nevada and then it dropped to a low of $2.95 as we drove.. the Penske truck they rented got like 8 miles to the gallon.. the van I drove got like 18.. just wish I still had my Exxon stock..

Yup, not the right time to buy Exxon but you would be rewarded if you had it.

I can't imagine spending that much on gas in several months! Ouch!

Where does your dad live? Hurricane country? I could give you a few pointers of some "nice to have items." Nothing says you care quite like hurricane prep items! Heck... Santa bought it for the family last year!
