Houston, Tx Rollcall

Well, the "fancy shoes" likely cost more than they consider tax-free.

I think you should go to the mall and report back on Monday. Be sure to have an ICE number in your cell for just in case!

Woohoo! I found the missing envelope! My life is complete again.

:nana:

And no, it wasn't with all the other ones....
Was there a dead guy in the envelope?

Yea! Glad that the smaller storm has left us with few problems.

Anyone else getting ready for Dean?
No. I'm not all that worried about it just yet.

It was seriously as black as night downtown for a couple of hours today -- with the crashing thunder & lightening. Pretty amazing stuff, really.

I slept through quite a bit of it. I stayed home from school today as I wasn't feeling well so the rain really didn't affect me too much.

I was lucky, got to work before it started hammering down. By the time I left work, the skies were lighter and the metro was running again. It was barely sprinkling when I got to my car.

The Princess called me this afternoon to say she'd be driving right by downtown about the time I left work and would I like a ride home?

*smile* Isn't that nice?

We took her out for dinner and have a very pleasant evening. There is hope yet.

Where's our Social Director? Isn't Museum Day tomorrow?

Confirm please!

Let us all be sad. Be very sad.

Our dear Social Director's computer has apparently died. It will be a while before he is able to grace us with his presence here.

In the meantime, everyone is welcome to keep in contract via traditional methods, i.e., the telephone. Oh, and we're on our own socially speaking.

I spoke to the social director tonight too.

I hear that my ears should have been burning. I think my radar was a little off. Did you have fun? Did anyone get kicked out?

Ballunar's date has changed due to the weather.

Mark your calendars (since TFG isn't here to tell you) for Nov. 2 - 4.

Thanks for letting us know. Now maybe Daughter #1 can go. She really wanted to, but isn't coming home for at least 6 weeks or so.

It was a lot of fun. TFG went to about 5 museums. We went to 3. We all went to lunch at Mai's. You should have gone too.
