Yea!!!!!!!!

Now how do I get that "Rockin Radio" bumpersticker on the car changed from 101.1 to 97.5. I do not think I can get those numbers to scratch off and look right. I know, Sharpie!!!!!

Thanks for the great news Cherry

Sounds like a better idea than those reflective numbers you can stick on mailboxes!

Safe Clear Opponents

Does anyone have a link to the opponents to Safe Clear? I heard about it on ABC's 6pm news, but there is no link to it on their website.

do I still count as a houstonian even though Ive been kicked back up to Huntsville for the semister

The penguin must have slipped his fore-flippers in the cymbals when they were wet. Kind of like the licking the flag pole trick. Penguins are crafty that way.

But have you noticed how much better and, dare I say, diverse 93.7's music has become? One moment Jefferson Airplane, the next, Ozzy. Who'd a thunk it?

Is this that towing ordinance they are pushing? I'd like to know more about it.

I'd let your state representative hear how you feel. They're taking it up in this session of the legislature.

I like it less and less every day! At first, I was excited about it then as I learned more...

What more have you heard? All I have heard is that if your car dies on a major freeway, the city will tow it for $75 to the closest impound. If you meet criteria for charity or payment plan, they will work with you on that.

I guess I need to research it.

I heard something new this morning. If you are not blocking traffic, they will offer to do the following for free:

1. tow your car one mile
2. bring gas
3. change a flat

If you are blocking traffic, then towing will still be done. I heard something about new (and higher) rates, but don't know much about that.

You know, it's something new every day...

Seems to me that they should have thought longer on the what if scenarios to me.

I am gonna shock you and post here, just because I can. Neener Neener!:p

If I knew what the question was I would be able to say for certain. But I no longer trust putting stuff on the net for the world to see.

As you can see now, it was nothing major. Just didn't really fit the topic of this particular thread.....

True, but better safe than sorry when it comes to the net. Plus everyone will wonder what the hell you asked me...;)

Okay all, this has been batted about in private messages and on other threads for a little while. They are planning a DFW littogether and silly me made the comment that traveling was not in my near future. BB decided that means I should plan the next Houston one.

Just a slight problem, I know nothing about Houston since I've only lived in Katy since October and my driving into houston is limited.

So brainstorm with me, or if anyone would like to help me or take this thing over, DT your name was mentioned somewhere, then maybe we can do this.

I wasn't thinking anything soon since they are doing Dallas next month but everyone post ideas for me.

Please keep me informed of how the plans are coming. I'd love to come to a Houston littogether. :)

edited because I'm not all there and did stupid things :)

In the DFW thread, I posted the ideas of

Something related to the rodeo

Mardi Gras Galveston

Kemah is warming up soon

I'm relatively new to the area as well. I don't know too much about places in Houston but I'll ask around.

I'll get back to you on it.:)
