Houston, Tx Rollcall

Okay . . another question and I'm sure all my questions are annoying ya'll ;)

I need to get my car inspection renewed and quick . . . silly me didn't notice the expiration til my dad pointed it out. Question is . . down here is it the full inspection or a smog check? In amarillo it really just depended where you went.

Thanks everyone for putting up with me

Depends on age of car. If the check engine light is not on, you lights all work, and the car does not spew oil and smoke, should be fine. There is a place down the road from here who will pass you if you leave a flask of Jack on the seat.

car is only a 2000. No major problems. Just the emergency break doesn't hold as well as it should since my ex liked driving with it on :(

My dad is working on fixing it, but he hasnt figured out the adjustment just yet. He worked at ford and passed me last time i needed it in spite of that, but since he has changed jobs I have to find a new place to do inspections.

I guess since it's just the one thing I should be fine. My lights all work and nothing spews :)

I'm not certain, but I think you have 5 days after it expires before ticketing begins.

I'm wondering where ohnudeone is doing business! Such connections!

We really need to ask my wife how she does it. She has NEVER had her car inspected on time. One time it was due in September, so in November she took it in. The attendant told her it was a year and two months old. An other time, I took her to the airport in her car. On the way home, I got pulled over for her expired sticker. Fortunately, I pulled into the driveway of a sticker shop, pinched my baby so he would cry, and told the officer I was on my way to get my wifes abandoned car fixed. (Oh yea, the car was filthy too). He let me off.

Someday we should see if it works. My dad has an old jeep that would never pass :D

Can't get to sleep? Don't bother with counting sheep -- listening to music at bedtime is the best way to get a restful night, researchers have found.

Not at all boring...

I have bouts of not being able to sleep. I'll live.:)

I have three daughters and know the morning routine well. LOL

My children are 10, 8 and 6... darling and adorable. My family is my all. When all else fails me, my family is there. At the end of a bad day at work, after a sleepless night, at the end of many broken dreams, my wife and children rush to my arms... I have nothing to prove to them, for I am DADDY! And their love for me is unconditional.

Many a nights sleep have I lost to worry and doubt Charmed Lady. I was serious about my bourbon. However, I do not recommend it. Peace with one's self is really the best answer, however difficult it is to attain.

They best sleeping aide really has been my youngest, gently breathing at my side. Her peaceful, pretty face. The peaceful sleep of an exhausted child is comforting to me.

Oh, that's beautiful. It brought a tear to my eye. Well, not the bourbon part but your other words are so sweet.

*giggles* I stopped reading when I got to "obnoxious" and started wondering how you knew I was obnoxious. After my shock and disbelief, I read that it was in response to my AV. Ah, way too much sugar & caffeine for me today. I've not had two sodas in a while. I just can't handle my Dr. Pepper like I used to!

Ah, the kind and gentle side of BB2 I see. :)

I went for a walk today and threw out (postponed really, but doesn't that sound better) all my responsibilities. Such a glorious day!
