Yep, I actually got used to being without internet but it is nice to have the option. And I have cable connection now so it is very fast. I can't believe I stuck with dial up for so long.

There's the zoo, which is fun for all ages.

There's several museums downtown. I suggest the Museum of Natural Sciences. They are having that human body exhibit right now and it's extremely interesting.

I'm sure there is a play or two going on in the theater district this evening.

and you have teh space center down in clear lake.. tours of minute maid park (baseball stasium), the Village (eclectic shoping area just south of 59 off Kirby), down in galveston -moody gardens, the strand, railroad museum, ellsa (tall ship), the beach (if you like beaches), outlet malls in Conroe and La Marque, There are several music venue like the Mucky Duck just of Kirby (great music and food nightly).. and the Acuustic Cafe down in Galveston
