Exactly! And if you slow it down online, and really read what is written, over time the lies will become apparent. It is very difficult to lie consistently over time. Sooner or later the web of lies gets so huge it is almost impossible to keep straight.

But lots of people trust the net more than R/L because often they are alone posting in their bedrooms/studies & they feel safe. It's a very seductive medium which leads people to lay themselves open to B/S and potential harm.
I'm so torn in my feelings about it.
Nobody is gonna love me for saying it, but the net is soooo unsafe for those with a tender heart, yet it is the vulnerable who are often drawn to the comfort of the web after R/L trauma.
I've no answers to any of this just observations.
I love the net.
But I wouldn't want anyone to go on it without some kind of B/S 101 course first.

I was reading an article in the paper today about a woman who started a blog and now it's national and a part time job for her. I thought, I can do that. I can write entertaining episodes about RL. Then I thought, what wouldn't I mind writing about if people found out it was really me? Answer: Not one damn thing. I'm a very shy and private person.

As for BS artists, I've been taken in and hurt by them in the past, hell I was raised by some and I married one for a decade of pure hell. Now I detect any of that and they are kept at a distance. I don't have the time or the inclination to deal with that shit at all.
