How come only 6% of scientists are Republican?

lol

All the episodes are on Hulu now for free.
Dude. I got Macross, Macross II, Macross Plus, the 1984 movie, Macross 7, Macross Zero and Macross Frontier. And all the soundtracks thereof. I got the Macross Perfect Collection book (the over $100 version signed by Mikimoto himself), and I got Macross the birthday cake (oh wait, ate that one already, hahahah).

Seriously. I can share it sometime via torrent but be prepared to pull down many gigs of data. All in mpeg format. :)

You post with Mechablade, so do you play with your own shit? Get a life you stupid clown.

Wow, why pull me into this? I guess if you can't answer the OP question, and you don't know how to properly insult Rory, you might as well go after people he "posts with".

A low moment, even for you vetteman.

I have as much on you as you have on me, but you're too fucking stupid to understand my point so just fuck off and waste no more of my time, troll.

You have no point. That's why you're waffling (as usual) when someone calls you on your weak shit.

You also don't have the balls to state things outright - one of the many reasons you overcompensate for your pussified life with man car love.

*clinks wine glass* :D

Most scientists work in environments that are supported by public funding. Republicans oppose this funding. It would be dumb for scientists to support the party that is most likely to defund their own work. This seems obvious.

I predict bad things for this thread.

I have a close family member who's a scientist. He's worked in academia and in government labs. Now at DOE. He says that Repub admins tend to support basic research (ie, what happens when two atoms collide) while Demo admins tend to support more practical research (ie how can we cure cancer). Both have merit, obviously.

I'm open-minded. For example, I don't mind your busybee/vetteman/garbage_dump/captainobvious circle-jerks one bit.

I just hope they all remember to use condoms. If any of them catch something nasty from all that mutual swapping of their hot, creamy, salty love fluids, the healthcare system in this country might not provide the adequate medical service they'd desperately need.

Eww.

Can't we just make them pay for it out of their privatized retirement accounts?

Careful there. Talk about somebody getting lucky, and you'll be called homophobic.

Open minded, but not very perceptive, apparently. There are threads like you allude to here, but not with those people. You could look it up.

But maybe they all look alike to you?

This is not to say it's exclusively one way or the other. Atmas was working on fuel cell technology during the Bush admin, with federal funding, for example.

The productive scientists, about 6 percent of them, work in the private sector. They are the Republicans.
The other scientists subsist on grants. They are the Democrats.

What a ridiculously partisan and inaccurate post from you, Ham. I'm embarrassed for you.

If he gets you drunk enough, maybe you'll get lucky.

Half of my family is black.

So, if this gay hatred stuff doesn't work, you can go there next.

Man, is the sauce weak in this thread or what?

Why does Obama's inner circle have only 7% of people experienced in business? Why is it that people who want America to trust them with the economy have no practical experience or knowledge of business?

Why is it all the experienced business people on Wall Street had to be bailed out by relatively inexperienced people on Main Street?

You obviously haven't been paying much attention to his posts for awhile now. This shouldn't come as a surprise. Although it does sound more like something Cap'n Partisan or Vetteman would say.
