If it's the one I'm thinking of, comments are turned off by the author, so that's one fewer avenue for feedback. That author has 33 other stories, with respectable scores by LW standards. There are worse stories out there in terms of the craft of the writing, but the racial stuff blatant racism, no need to beat around the bush so much, stands out.

If it's not the one I'm thinking of, I have no idea. There are 20 new stories in LW today. None of their titles stand out as much as that one does to me, and I'm not going to open all the other 19 to see if any are worse than the one I found.

As for "how" if that's a serious question, I don't think the pre-publication review is that strict about content. Stories can be published here with really gross, degrading content and they still go up. I'm pretty sure I've seen stuff even worse than that before, although I'm not going to go looking for it now. One of the content guidelines is that works can't "promote or glorify hate, intolerance, or violence towards any person or group", and I guess sometimes they slip through. This is probably worth reporting.

Stay out of the interracial category if the content of this story bothers you.

Placing it into the LW category instead of Interracial would get the writer some ugly comments if he had those enabled.

I've seen stories like that before tossed into LW, so the author can come here to the AH proclaiming how intolerant and bigoted the LW audience is, pointing to that story as PROOF.

There's no real "loving wife" in it, just a one-dimensional prop of a female character. It's interracial, humiliation, etc to rile up the LW audience. In the future, the author will probably throw in cock-caging the husband and breeding the wife

That happens when an author is deliberately trolling for negative reactions.

When selecting a category, the author should look at the dominant themes and characteristics in the story and choose that category. If it's describing race repeatedly over other characteristics, it should probably go into Interracial Love. When they deliberately choose a category like Loving Wives, they're trolling for hate. The same goes for other "fetishes" or differences, such as BDSM, Lesbian, Gay, Trans, etc. My own story "Fantasy Renewal" only lightly touches on consensual bondage and spanking, and yet it got reamed in LW at 2.91/81 a month later. (Any average below a 3.0 after that long means they hated those one-off themes.)

Not my type of story, so I found it difficult to even do a cursory glance. I don't really dip into the interracial pool, so it makes me wonder if that is what that category is like. I would think that something like this would be better placed in fetish, though it looks like they have found some type of following in LW.

I don't read LW to know what they're talking about, or really IR either, but from what I gather, it seems to be full of black spades, big black dicks, and uncle Toms/Tonyas.

Are you referring to BBC-BNWO-like trash? It spreads freely in the CD, Fetish, and TS categories, and who knows where else. IR is practically unreadable because of this. There is clearly no intention to restrict it.

The Interracial category is full of racism. As you'd expect, because all characters have an ethnic background of some sort outside some robot-based sci-fi, so there has to be a reason that a story is conceived as being "interracial" as opposed to just being some other category whether the characters happen to have ethnic backgrounds. That reason is usually that racism plays a major role in the sexual fantasy.

Now, a lot of BNWO stuff is basically just garden variety racism about black people glued together with a cucking fetish, so it doesn't seem weird for someone to decide that the cucking fetish part was as or more important than the racism and move it to LW from IR.

Racism is a really important part of a disturbingly large number of sexual fantasies, and that's why the Interracial category is like right on the cusp of being a small category and being a medium category. Just a thin slice less stories than Transgender or Mature, so you could call it the biggest of the small categories or the smallest of the medium categories. Traffic is enough to support the stories, the biggest story in terms of views from the last week has 36 thousand views, which is very respectable.

I mean, the title implies that it's incest adjacent and plays heavily into racial stereotypes about black people, so I'm not sure that "respectable" is the right word. But it has certainly done well. It's not weird for multi-genre racist material to be posted on other genre boards.

Although I would expect explicitly racist material to be downvoted a fair amount if posted to boards other than the interracial board specifically.
