How do I delete my ID and story postings?

You can't delete your membership. I don't know if you can delete your stories, but you can ask the mods to do it for you.

What you can do is change your password to something random, log out and never come back, but you can't DELETE your membership.

Couldn't the mods "ban" the user name/IP address? That would probably be as good as deleting the profile.

The mods can't delete stories or accounts. They don't have access to IP addresses either, AFAIK; IIRC, they used to have access until one of them abused her power, so now only the site admins have access to more sensitive info and advanced functions on both sides of the site. The moderators of the forums are pretty much limited to editing posts and moving them to a hidden forum (effectively deleting them) if they violate the rules.

Anyway, the best you can do is edit your account and have your stories deleted. There are instructions for both of those actions in our FAQ sticky.
