How Do I Love Thee...

I keep thinking of reasons. Can I still post them?

Post all you want! This thread is for us (especially ones who are separated for the moment) to proclaim our love to the ones dear to us! :)

Good cause I got a million of them.

1) She's bailed me out twice

2) After my unfortunate jail term her first words to me after six months apart were "Was your Girlfriend cuter than me?"

A Day In Life With SirGalahad

Galahad brings me coffee in bed
Galahad does the dishes and laundry while I attempt to get gorgeous
Our Administrator of Discipline arrives
Galahad takes the children swimming while I am thoroughly and enjoyably chastised.
Galahad brings lunch home for us all.
Galahad rubs my feet until I fall asleep.
Galahad wakes me up for my doctor's appointment.
Galahad watches the children while I take a nap.

Is it any wonder that I love this man more than anything or anyone on earth? Galahad, you are everything to me. I thank God everyday for letting me have you. You are far better than I deserve, and more than I ever hoped for. I love you and I always will.

1) When we decided to see if we had similar tastes in baby names we both submitted lists that had Horton at the top(Admittedly hers was for the Seuss book and mine was because I like Hockey and Donuts)

*Although he is a classically trained opera singer and loves jazz music, he listens to heavy metal to be closer to me.

*The fact that I can't cook doesn't bother him in the least.

*He fell in love with me w/out seeing my pic first. (Has since seen it and is quiet pleased :D)

*He reads poetry to me. He writes poetry for me.

*Twice, when something major happened in my life, he somehow knew and contacted right when I needed him to be there.

Tiggs...7 hours would seem like a blessing to me. More like 7 states. Idaho and Ohio. But we are overcoming all the obstacles to be together.

What's odd is the name I picked out for a boy child if ever I have one, is EXACTLY the same as Nick's.

Nicholas John. Before I even knew his middle name I posted that on a baby name thread here, and I showed him and he was like THATS MY FULL NAME!

The girl names we chose were EXTREMELY similar too. (We get to use mine first tho :p)

For the fisherman, and his net of passion and desire, bait of sweet words and soft kisses....

are you that butterfly that never lands?

That's a beautiful feeling, ain't it?

Our girl names were slightly different(Although I didn't see, at first, why Horton wasn't unisex) but eventually compromised on a name that was vaguely normal but resembled a favourite beer of mine.

I'm still a little miffed that I'll never have a child named Heineken though.

EBW- now this side of you I like. You have a heart afterall. :)
And I'd say your girlfriend is lucky, you obviously love her.

Now, that said, why were you in jail for 6 months? Curiosity killed the cat, I know. But, why?

Yikes! Mike and I do have all of Iowa between us though! :Ugh: :(

As in what? Why was I in jail or why did she assume I'd be up to prison sex shenanigans?

I guess both. It just caught me offguard. lol

Oh I know it may seem like there is merely a cold, dead slab of tofu where my ticker may be but it is true that when it comes to E I'm a much softer guy. And as lucky as she might be I'm 10 times luckier than she ever could be(I should be shot for thinking something that corny, let alone typing it. Yeesh )

I was imprisoned for "Assaulting a Police Officer" during a lower tuition protest. :)

I answered the first one above, the second one is because she uses humour to mask anxiety.

I can understand that. I use humor to mask a lot of things. :( BTW, sorry if my "lol" was out of place in my last post. :(

Not in the least. I look back at my incarceration with a smile today.

Actually one day I'd like to write at length about it. It was an odd, unique experience that while I don't ever, ever want to repeat was certainly a learning experience.

For instance, I learned how to hide things from hacks :D
