I write, "low moans", "yelps", "mewing sounds", "caught her breath", "gasped", and "sighed". Those are words readers understand in their own way. I do sometimes write things like, "Oh", and "Oh God", and depending upon the character's personality, "Oh fuck". I haven't written "ooooooooooooooooh" or "aaaaaaaaaaaaah" for a very long time.I mean, once you get past "ooohhh..." and "aaahhh..." how do you write low moans, loud moans, muted groans, orgasmic yelps and all that stuff. I keep making it up in the down and dirty "dialogue", and feeling it is not right. Curious what others do and think about this.
