How Long To Get Username Changed?

Hello. Does anyone know how long it takes to get a username changed? I followed the outlined procedure and posted the request on September 12. Every time I check though I get the message:

This submission is awaiting moderator's approval
Then it will be accessible for browsing

I unfortunately chose my username rather hastily trying to come up with one that wasn't already taken when I joined the forum last year. Now it seems kind of dumb to me.

'Mind Visons' seems quite appropriate for an author.

I agree. Seems a perfectly good username to me.

That being said, this kind of request runs on the editing schedule, which has low priority, so expect a month.

It took a couple weeks when I submitted mine a few months ago.

It took my change about 3 weeks, but that was a year ago. A friend has changed hers a few times and it varied from several days to a month.

In other words, it happens when it happens. The wait is frustrating but it is what it is.
