As big as the porn industry has gotten over the last decade, I'm amazed that there really is an unfilled niche in the market for good couples videos. I know there are videos designated as "Couples Video" and I don't want to take anything away from those who do enjoy them, but I do agree with others who have posted here that it's not really a format that lends itself to watching. All action, unrealistic scenarios. I've watched them with girls who have liked watching them but you can't really watch them for too long. Solo, that's another story and another purpose...

For coupling purposes, I'd be interested in seeing something that is a mix of (1) the quality of those cheesy Penthouse videos, (2) contains the skeleton of some kind of story line, builds tension, and contains some scenes NOT in bed, a la cheesy Cinemax faire, and (3) at the right time, the full-on sex of regular porn. Could be one long plot or a series of vignettes.

I would have thought that the stories here would have provided a wealth of material for such things.

Having said that, people probably wouldn't rent/buy it in the numbers that they do for regular porn, content would be too strong for Cinemax et al, and the production costs are higher than regular porn so maybe I've answered my own question.


p.s. One more thing, slightly stupid, I always thought an obvious porn that never got made was one starring Kobe Tai as an aerobics instructor a la Kiana Tom of Flex Appeal. Not that I'm even especially big on Kobe Tai. It just seemed so kind of obvious to me.
