How many openly gay artists, actors and musicians can you name?

Guy from Judas Priest-Rob Halford came out a few years ago prefaced with a, well duh, everyone who matters has always known.

Versace-mudered, not a crime of passion. not sure if I remeber this right, but may not have really been his boyfriend , just a guy from the clubs??

Andrew Cunanan, the murderer of Gianni Versace, was a hustler who was wanted in 4 other murders at the time he killed Versace. In fact, he was on the FBI's ten most wanted list.

There were some reports that he and Versace had hooked up before, but Cunanan committed suicide when the police cornered him and any certainty died with him. But there was no real evidence that they had any kind of ongoing relationship.

Edited to say that I don't think they were a couple, though both are gay... and I still think Roger Daltrey is extremely hot, even if he's not playing on my team. *G*

That's a new one to me.

I knew that Townsend has discussed bi experiences, and there was that flap in the press when he said that because of them he thought he had a better understanding of what it's like to be a woman (as if), but I have never heard that either of them are gay.

I did read it in an interview somewhere last year. It made a definite impression on me, partly because I'd had a wicked crush on Roger Daltrey.

I'll try to see if I can find where that interview was.

I thought the actor who played Jack on Will and Grace was actually straight - thought I heard that somewhere...

And, Jodi Foster is definately gay... but definately not publicly out...

but the guy that directed the MatrixII is transgendered. He apparently is starting to dress in women's clothes when he goes out... that was a nifty little factoid.

Nick LaChey..don't know if that's how you spell it.. the guy from 98 degrees, but he was sleeping with my brother for a bit.

It's an excellent film. Although, Brendan Frasier has really inhibited my enjoyment of some great films - including The Quiet American which I loved.

As for Alan Cumming, is he gay or bi? Isn't he married to Jennifer Jason Leigh?

I think Fraser's performance in G&M works because of his lack of his stiffness and lack of expressiveness. A more flexible actor might not have conveyed the character's repression quite so well.

P.S.'s site lists Alan Cumming as being gay, but he was married before, so he may be bi. Unfortunately, there is sometimes a rush to push every bi celeb into the gay category.

He is not married to Jennifer Jason Leigh. I don't think she's ever been married, has she?

i know of a more major actor (hes starred in a few sit coms and ive seen him a few movies)~whos been spotted hanging around several gay hot spots and in one case making out at pork.

i hope he comes out.

no just air.

i was all set to look up the actors name and post it when it dawned on me the possbility of outing him. one of my best friends is a celebrity photographer and the idea of earning some extra rent money flashed through my mind~it would prolly jump start his career to A~list for fifteen minutes but then the fact i think outing is wrong crept in and just thought how nice it would be if he were to come out the way one should.

on television.
