How often do you check your scores?

Snooper is an iron man. He has a point, too.

I do not believe entirely in the Lit. troll idea. I mean to say, the public at large doesn't know that it's poor form to vote 1, so they will. They have five choices, and they are going to use them all. Thus the 1 votes occur. They hit Hot stories more simply because readers read Hot stories preferentially.

Checked them every day for a week when I first posted the stories. Haven't looked at them for a month. Too depressing.

Oh, they exist. The trouble is that all the evidence suggests that they are other successful authors vying for top spot, or other less successful authors venting their jealousy.

When my first submission appeared on Lit, I checked my score page several times a day. It was addictive at first. After about a week, the votes levelled off so I checked only once a day. Now I take a peek about every other day.

I got a lot of feedback and messages on my first story, then a little less on my second and hardly any on my third - go figure ?

Is there any way to see the scores that are given to you rather than the average ? (otherwise how do people know they've been hit by a 1 unless they check the score after every vote cast...??)
