Good morning, just, my dear colleague... give me a minute to work this one out... normal heart rate 77-79bpm, let's take 78 as an average, so 78bpm times, er 24 hours times 60 equals, ah 1440 minutes times 78bpm equals 112,320 divided by every second bpm equals 56,160. Taking into account dreaming time, slightly less, maybe less 8 times 60, that's 480 times maybe 6 or so... maybe 7. So that's 7 times each night period.

So, 56,160 plus 7, so that makes around 56,167 times per day (24 hours) empirically speaking.
