Trial and error really. Some production companies stick to the 'mean' stuff...I think one of them is called 'Raw' in their company name.

Vivid Entertainment stuff usually isn't too bad. Look for stuff by female directors too. They tend to be more considerate of their actresses.

It's why I usually mute the sound while I'm watching. But sometimes I listen, just to get a laugh out of the music track. I have this vision of a jazz band playing in the background while those in the movie are happily banging away. Define "nice".... But I think I know what you mean and I think you should be able to find plenty. We have recently discovered "Marc Dorcel", a French producer (www.dorcel.com), and especially like the "pornochic" series. What I like about these movies is that the decor is stylish and everything looks beautiful (models and set)... it's still hardcore porn though. Same goes for Suze Randall stuff, like Chi-Guy already mentioned, and if you like Randall and Dorcel you will probably also like Michael Ninn movies.

I agree.... but you can never be sure.... after all it is a movie and that means the people in it are ACTORS (although that may be giving them too much credit in most cases... ).

Also.... it is my opinion that almost all women are very good fakers due to a lot of bad experiences with sex (read: men). Sorry guys, but as far as I know this is true. And not only from own experience...

But what the heck... you watch other movies and know "it's not for real" and you don't mind for the sake of the story/movie or whatever; you just want to be entertained, don't you? It's no different in porn!

Having said that... I still agree I like watching porn in which the women seem to enjoy themselves and being treated well a whole lot better than the harder attitude. I want to see seduction and build-up. I think, partly also because of the care that went into the set-dressing etc. the producers I have mentioned before are doing a nice job.
