and I'm not talking about their faces.

I'm a guy, and currently I've got 2 options for shaving my nethers, it's either the electric razor I've got (technically a Electric "Groomer") for my 'V' part, and a straight razor for the shaft and scrote.

is there something in the electric department that is delicate enough to use for the straight razor part and the my current shaver's part?

Have you looked in The Blank Manual sticky thread and searched? There's a ton of info here about shaving. Hubby and I use the Schick Quattro and a good gel or cream with the procedures described here.

People have given reviews on the Seiko Cleancut Intimate Shaver, I think it is, but it's expensive and some don't like it.

Schick Quatro, huh? I'm using a Gillette with 3 blades (not sure of the name)

You and your husband huh? Do you help him? Does he ever do it himself? if he Does, ask him how hard it is for him to shave the scrote without cutting himself or missing a lot. (the results if you press too hard or not hard enough, repectively)

It's actually the Quattro Power with whatever quattro blades are the cheapest (between drug store rebates, sales and coupons, I hardly pay anything for these).

Hubby does it himself, or I do it for him. Neither of us has ever been cut by pulling the skin taut, using a good razor and routine. We're more likely to get nicked using the hair trimmer if the hair is long enough to require a trim first because it can kind of grab the skin, but even that's not a big deal.

One thing you want to be aware of is itching if you're going to start shaving virgin skin or you don't want to do it regularly. It takes a while of regular shaving for our skin to adjust and not itch as it starts to grow back. I'd say it took me a month or so of daily or almost daily shaving to get to the point where I could go a week or more without shaving or itching, but my skin is pretty sensitive and I have more moisture to deal with (which seems to make it more itchy, though there are lots of simple remedies for that).

I've been shaving for 10 years or more. The key is... stick to it. Eventually the skin will adapt to the razor (I use a disposable razor with 3 blades). I use my standard bar of soap and it only takes a minute or so.

You'll learn the "grain" of the skin and what works best. Eventually it will become standard operating proceedure every time you're in the shower.

Good hot water, lots of foamy soap and a sharp fresh blade.
Piece of cake. Don't just shave once, get the itches, and give it up. Stick with it.

Schick Quatro, Gillette Mach 3.

I agree. I started about 10 years ago. When I had a vasectomy the nurse said I would make Telly Savalas "Kojak" jealous. Smoooooooth.

Just keep'em shaved and powered.

Good Luck
