I'm still dragging tree limbs to the curb from last year's 3 hits.

Bite me, Ernesto.

If we don't hear from you for over two weeks (like last year), expect the TLLA (Texas Loveshack Lesbian Association) to give pursuit. You have been warned.

Well,

accoriding to http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/, there's a 1 in 20 chance of Ernesto reaching hurricane force over the next five days.

I guess we have keeping watching the NAtional Hurricane Center's charts. They were completely accurate in predicting Katrina, many days ahead of time.

Edit: They preduct 95-100% probability of Ernesto remaining a Tropical Storm over Florida , which is wind speeds of over 39 MPH

Hell, I check NOAA daily from June 1st until Thanksgiving.

I wonder if it will make a track straight up the turnpike?

I'm on high ground. The last few storms, we didn't even lose power. It was good. We have a new roof and everything. And I brought back a new bottle of GOOD tequila from Mexico. Come on over.

I notice that since I first posted that graphic, the Cat-1 prediction for when Ernesto reaches South Carolina has been downgraded to TS intensity and the track has shifted a bit east to right up the middle of Florida.

It looks like this one is just going to be wet and windy enough to show people what needs to be reinforced for the next one.
