So a vaccine for the Wuhan Flu is allegedly to be out by Nov. 1st. And the list of those scheduled to receive the first vaccines are the usual crowd, medical staff, caregivers, etc.

Now for the hypothetical;

You're a RN and are scheduled to receive the vaccine. Along with the vaccine you have to sign a letter of indemnification and oh by the way, if you refuse the vaccine.............You're Fired.

What are you going to do?

I am definitely not taking any vaccine that has been rushed through by this administration. If I were a nurse, I would resign if required to take it. At this point in the pandemic, I am sure most countries would welcome experienced medical personnel.

Did you read the first paragraphs of your article here, where it says right off the bat you should get a flu shot, your kids, neighbors, co-workers, Everyone should get a flu shot?

It's not a good idea to live in the past. I'm glad it's 2020 and medicine​ has advanced so far beyond the 1970's .

Did you read the article, the vaccine was rushed out without proper clinical trials.....one reason your CDC ( and lots of the rest of the world) has a methodology for the development of vaccines. To prevent the 1976 problem from reoccurring...

The fact that the author needed a preamble about the overall safety of vaccines, and that you should get one, points to the rise of the stupidity of people in the United States ( and else where in the world) refusing to be, or have their children vaccinated, including getting a Flu shot....

I did and yes, I understand the difference between now and 1976. I fully expect the medical research companies who are working on the vaccine to not rush through trials and we most definitely will hear about it if they do. People on the front lines, Doctors and Nurses, usually have pretty good info on what is legit and not... Trump will not be able to achieve any rush job or pressure on this group. And the "enemy of the people" will do it's​ job on reporting and keeping us safe(r) from this idiotic anti-Semitism administration.

Disregarding the fact that American soldiers ("losers" in Trump-speak) are likely in the best of shape and hardly representative of the USA as a whole for testing purposes, should American soldiers be used as guinea pigs for medical testing?
