Welcome back, long time reader but I have only been on the forums a few years.

Ok So I have a Question for all you "Old timers". My observations.
1. By far more guys on here than women, seems like decent guys get buried by all the super horny cockblockers. And women are so inundated with DM they have no time to stumble across a decent guy.
2. Some bait threads, threads you know your going to get a reaction either from a group of horny guys or a guy trying to lure a woman into.
3. Women can post anything and I mean anything and the thread stays active forever. Guys are constantly bumping there own plea.
4. Were women always as full of shit as guys ?
5. Were there always ghosting ? Was it as common as it is today ?
I have a few other minor nuances but Ill just leave it at this.

The short answer to all these questions/observations is: Yes. Correct.

I remember coming to Lit in the early 2000s, mostly to read the filthy stories. I would wade through the forums once in a while. I thought; wow! Look at all of the old people chatting about sex and fucking! Now I am that old person. LOL.

There were a few differences back then...

• There were no dating apps. So people had to at least chat for a bit and not only swipe.
• Lit was a place where you will make friends and usually get invited to an external group on Kik or Yahoo groups. Those were WILD!
• There was no only fans or "Content Creators" so guys will not get scammed or spammed like now.
• There were not that many Incels like now

I remember making a ton of good GIRL friends and we had really cool relationships for YEARS

We are doing ok. The great plague migration had people flowing in to the swamp known as FL, so we used it as an opportunity to get out of the swamp.

I was amazed I remembered my password. I guess for somethings my mind can still be a steel trap. Of others there is right-click save image as....

The amusing part is the main reason I gave logging in to Lit a try is I got a email alert that someone who created a new account Oct-2025 had clicked on "start conversation" with me. Last time one of those came through was Feb-2011 when a person was asking my Linux questions.
