Why are anonymous users allowed to comment or vote on posts? These anonymous users use their indiscretions to take positive votes away from active artists. I have experienced the effects on several of my stories. I have noticed there are many of my favorite authors that have experienced the same.

I feel that you can read any story at any level, but you need to be registered and logged in to comment or vote. The way it is set up is terrible. It can more than likely easily be fixed.

If it is fixed, we, as authors, can visibly see who is commenting on the stories we work to produce for Literotica.

Try finding your rewards in the fact that you wrote the best story you could at the time, given the available resources. Waiting for pats on the back from Lit readers is like waiting for your dog to moon dance.

Well, I am confident that your dog can moon dance.
So let sissy understand. You are tired of living in a society that is free and allows free speech.
You wish to live in a society that limits what people are allowed to say.

Is that what you mean?

Pete has no idea how sissy came up with all of that after reading Pete's post.

Methinks that someone who imagines themselves to be an "author,"
should have a much thicker skin simply because
there are aways going to be critics...

I'm beginning to think that people who write pornography are not grounded in reality. :)

Ah, you made the new ID you were told about in your other thread. Very Good. Now perhaps your horrible stories won't be trolled by those you troll on the GB in your rant against Anonymous.

So is that really what is going on here?

;)

I find it unlikely that two different people would show up on the GB with the same rant about Anonymous in less than a week.

The only way two different people would choose this board for a rant is if that rant is anti-Trump or anti-Clinton, or in an alternate and very strange reality: anti-Beto.

Wow. OCD much?
K, I'll play nice. There are a few things you can do to make you much happier.

a) If you don't want to take the bad with the good disable comments.
b) Don't want to disable comments cuz one or two are decent? Edit out the comments you don't like and leave the good ones.
c) Once you've decided how to deal with comments that displease you ask Laurel for a sweep of your story(ies) to find out what your real vote score is if you feel like people are dissing your work for no reason. Don't be disappointed if it's still low, just shows there's room for improvement.
d) Don't diss your audience while logged in under your author's username. In fact don't draw attention to any of your stories on any of this site's forums.
e) Write better stories, don't publish in Loving Wives.

There my charitable deed for the day is done. Ywia.

Writing stories annoys the trolls but I'd rather have a rude or offensive comment than no reaction at all.

Sometimes anonymous puts a lot of effort into the comment because he (usually he) is offended or scared by the idea of fetish or femdom. It says a lot more about him than about my story.

Very well, I shall read your Halloween contest entry.

Is it there where most of the trolling happens? :)
Asking because it's not the first time I read this advice.

I didn't know you can do that. Seems like an excellent system to protect your work from trolls, yet objective enough to keep the real scores.
It's even better than the iggy system on the GB.

Yes. There are several groups of people who read Loving Wives. What will appeal to one will piss off the others.

I'm rough in here but I never insulted a writer, if I thought they really sucked I'd rather send them a pm.
But I Can imagine trolls accumulating there, particularly the young ones.
