I have a computer question please...........

How come every computer key board has those little bumps on the "F" and "J" keys....

What is the meaning of this and why are they there?.....................

Those are the home keys. It's so you know where to put your fingers without looking. Adding machines have them on the 5 also.

they are for touch typing

f and j are the home row postions of the index finger on each hand

the 5 is the home row postion of the number pad


experts use them in a way that they dont even need to see the key board
