My church use to love to rag on the smurfs. The smurfs being little dead babies, Azrael being a demons name, the evil witch and the mushrooms being drug symbolize.

My parents were terrified to let me watch after they sent a flyer home on the smurfs.

I have to say I agree. I might not have at the time, but my kids have carebears on dvd and if i hear 'forest of feelings' or 'care bear cousins' one more time I WILL SCREAM!!!!
