I :heart: AH <snerk>

Nice to see a thread that glosses over the meaningless bitching and acidic sniping that some people pass for "reality."

And let me say thanks to everyone who has ever submitted a story to FAWC. It was a baby of mine that grew up pretty damn fast, yet makes me smile every time I start a new one. ;)

New FAWC! New FAWC! New FAWC!
:p:p:p

I :heart: the FAWC. I'm still enjoying my basket of goodies from FAWC2 :). Ah, food, recklessness and obnoxious - what a combo. And color! which I had to spell differently all the way through not to give away that the story was by a Brit, LOL.

I have an idea to write a story entirely with British spelling when it applies. Might have to run it by you when I do so.

The next FAWC won't be for a while. Don't want to overlap the official contests, yaknow. ;)

Gah, I have a hugely heavy schedule coming up. What will I do without the FAWC as well to make me get up very early and hurriedly churn out some smut before breakfast? :rolleyes:

Send the story along, my dear, I will be glad to look it over for you. :)

I'm paraphrasing the AH's cowardly lion by saying this, but you can always FAWC yourself. ;)

If and when I get it written, I shall.

Oh I frequently go FAWC myself ;), although I will spare you HP's camera footage <snerk>.

Pictures of a li'l ole lady busy scribbling at her antique writing desk do disappoint :D

That depends upon her attire. <snigger>

Awesome performance; brings a tear to the eye - yes, really!

Hello Lady,

:rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose:

Thanks for whacking some sense into my thick skull when I was being rude to you, without knowing it.

Thanks for being supportive of me and everyone around here on Lit.

Thanks for being nice to that old troll despite his, ahem, shenanigans.

Thanks for posting this beautiful thread amidst the dirt and crap in AH.

Thanks for having the biggest heart of gold.

Thanks for letting me know you.

:rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose:

That was lovely! and I had not heard it before. Thank you.

Well, y'know what I wear to write smut ... not much. It's a dreadful sight, I assure you. ;) Poor HP has lost a lot of cracked camera lenses trying to capture it.

Hello Lady,

...

Thanks for letting me know you.

Awww, honey :eek::eek::eek:

Thank you for putting up with a spanking with good grace, and for managing to post me a dozen roses in 'I have ...' even though it's only possible to post 10 icons in a post. You are a good larf and a good sport and a pleasure to know.

(BTW, he paid very heavily for that spanking, I want you all to know! Things are bad in the Welsh economy and I am obliged to charge very high for them these days. ;))

I :heart: Naoko (with no <snerk>)

even though she wouldn't review my Just So Elephant story because the adult (18+) elephants didn't use Jumbo-sized condoms.

:D

Aww, I :heart: the elephants.

Although the one I really :heart: of yours is the fox and rabbit story! which I am going to review as soon as I get a minute.

(And I :heart: your legs, of course :p)

I was just being sarcastic, I apologize...Peach is great, but I do appreciate hlft. She's so genuine. In fact the only female audio I listen to. Mind Fuck and Slow n Easy are fantastic!!!

OK, I will try out hlft for a soundtrack to HP's camerawork. :)

Luv ya too! you Humour Hound.
I often go and read what you and HP are posting in the More Humour thread and enjoy a good chuckle.
:kiss::heart::kiss:

I :heart: all the posters here in the AH, even the more trollish amongst us; there's always someone or something to enjoy or annoy.

Thanks, Naoko! :rose::rose::rose: rose :rose::rose::rose: rose:rose::rose::rose: rose

Oh, I was just trying not to ignore you, I wasn't cross or anything. But ... do we get to kiss and make up? :devil:

:kiss:

LOL, and if you have any good recommendations for my review blog, send 'em along! :)

Dear Tio, thank you for all the many times you have helped me out. Thank you for restoring my faith in men, by revealing that you put the new toilet roll on the roller without being told to do it :p. And thank you for having a naughty avatar which sometimes makes me glad I have a small screen when I am surreptitiously posting on here while Piglet does her spelling homework.
:rose::heart::rose:

Nice to see an upbeat thread in here! :rose:

And thank you again for the reviews of the stories on your blog. For those of us not used to that sort of attention it really gives us a sense of validation, thank you for that! :rose::kiss:

Good to hear you enjoy the blog! It sure was fun viewing your hot stuff, uh ... :eek: I mean reviewing your romantic safe sex story.

LOL, JagFarlane's Nude Day story is a good 'un, folks. Here is my Nude Day review. I will try to fit a few more in if I get time.

(Stories that is ;))

Over-slung, away from the wall is the correct orientation, Pilot; under-slung, against the wall, is more difficult to get hold of and tends more towards over-rotation. :rolleyes:

You've never had cats in the house, have you? :D

OMG! I do want to marry you!
:rose:

You shouldn't leave the end of the paper hanging down. Whether in front or back, that's far too tempting for feline. My cat generally ignores the toilet paper.

You are sure tempting this li'l pussy with your manly domestic wiles. :devil:

Naoko my dear, your box is full. :eek:

PM box that is. ;)

I want to marry you too of course! You know I am your fan ;).

Sorry about my box ;). Someone was trying to chat me up by asking me about whiskey. I mean! Fancy trying to chat a Scot up with whiskey instead of whisky! :D Still, it was a bit more entertaining than that one who tried to chat me up by asking me about rugby. Was he ever seen again? Ah, too bad, poor li'l thing. :devil:

So nice to see a friendly and positive thread to balance out some of the recent negativity and asshattery from you know who.

Thanks, Naoko, for posting this. And thanks to the vast majority of people who hang out in the AH, you all seem like good people, just trying to get by and write sexy stories that people will like!

Awww, thank you for sticking it out to find the goodness in AH.

I became a writer by accident. It was a fill-in job while I was waiting for an opportunity to work as an art director in an advertising agency. The problem was, it turned out that the people who paid me thought that I was quite good at it. Writing, that is.

And then – and I can’t remember why – I decided to try my hand at writing radio drama. I wrote one play, and sent it off. And back came a cheque and an invitation to write four more plays. Of course, like any writer who makes it so easily, I realised that I was clearly an imposter, and it was just a matter of time before I would be tumbled.

I quickly realised that I needed to lower my sights. I needed to get ready for the crash that was inevitably coming. Journalism seemed like a good idea. And so I wrote speculative pieces for three magazines. And I sent them off. To this day, I have never heard from the first magazine. Perhaps my copy was ‘lost in the post’. But the other two magazines offered me my own column. Happily, both magazines were monthlies. Fifteen hundred words. Once a month. Yeah, I can do that.

And then my agent said that it was time to write a book. I think he meant fiction. But the fiction part of my brain was already engaged in short stories – which were also selling quite well – so I put my mind to a non-fiction book. That was the first time that I actually ‘worked’ with an editor. Our work consisted mainly of drinking red wine and playing backgammon. But the resultant book was a best seller – much to the surprise of the head of the publishing house. As Kurt Vonnegut would have said: So it goes.

For the past 50 years, I have worked largely alone. And I still do. Yes, I have partied. I am an introvert who can pretend to be an extrovert. Well, for short periods of time anyway. (I am a sucker for both good food and good wine.) But ‘working’ is still a solitary business.

And then, somehow, I can’t remember how, I discovered Literotica. Several of the Boards seemed quite interesting; but the AH seemed to have more of the people I could relate to, more of the discussions that interested me. And so I dipped my toe.

Like Naoko, I have made a quite a few ‘online friends’. One, in particular, I have ‘talked with’ almost every day for the past four years. I only have one RL friend who falls into that category. I am sorry if Mrs Scouries (or is it Ms Scouries?) is upset that I drop in and play games with my friends from time to time, but so it goes. When you work in such a solitary world, it’s nice to have a 24/7 hangout. Thank you, Laurel. Thank you, Manu. And thank you to all my online friends.
