I live and have lived in Utah my whole life.

Pologamy is still praticied here, by alot more than you would expect. But they are very much a minority, and they are not Mormon.

There is a town about 50 miles from where I live, on the Utah, Arizona border, that has nothing but plolgimist. The town is actually 2 towns, one in Utah and one in Arizona

The girls, and boys there are taught from birth that for a man to reach exahatation he must be wed to at least 3 women. And the women are taught they are there soley to serve the men. They have their own private school, where their "Propet" teaches them mostely through audio and video tape. The women and girls have no contact with anyone from outside the town. No radio, TV, or phone. Except when a few come into town to go to WalMart or Costco. But I think only a few are allowed out.

There is alot more to it, and it has almost become a Neo Nazi way of teaching over there, especalliy to the young men.
