Mine was last night.
Matt introduced me to some of his out of town friends, and we really hit it off.
I was yucking it up with them, then went to get nachos out of the oven, and he grabbed me in the kitchen and said it.

she was staying over at mine, in seperate bedrooms. my mum wouldnt let us stay in the same bed if her parents didn't, even tho we were basically living together in her halls

i was kissing her good night, half under the covers, on my knees, no music, and she said it...i think i froze and said thats nice, or something equally stupid, and left to go to my room pretty quick....
together for years after that mind, so obvsiously wasnt that devastating not to hear it straight back

We'd only been dating a week or two, but had been friends for a couple of years before we took it up a notch.
It was twilight in the park, he'd made us a picnic and it was getting progressively darker so we were putting it all away. We'd been making out a whole lot during the picnic and I made some crack about how after this our friendship would be effectively ruined, and he said "ah that doesn't matter...I don't want us to be friends any more because I've fallen head over heels in love with you"
