I Miss...

... the sound of His voice... already... (what?...5 minutes is a really long time!)and even when we're multitasking...just knowing that He's there.

I miss Saturday morning cartoons...I know they still have them, but they are crap compared to when I was a kid, and apparently only run for 30 minutes to an hour...I miss waking up at 5am, getting a bowl of Cocoa Puffs, and settling in for my weekly allotment of Smurfs, Thundercats, Transformers, et. al.

i miss being able to look in someone's eyes and see their soul and yours reflected in them....

someone to share my thoughts with, someone to share music and books with, someone to cuddle and nibble...

...His voice...already.

The way He gives me those distwacted kisses and the way He giggles and makes me giggles along, the way He grrs at me when I'm being a brat, the way He talks to himself when He's trying to do something, and the way He talks to the kitties, the way His voice lowers when He says those beautiful words....and the way His full bewwy laff echoes through the phone and warms me all ovah.

*rips the wednesday page out of the calendar*

hey look!! tis Thurday already!! wheee!!

I miss my best friend. Two months ago I had to tell her the truth because she needed to hear it. It made her angry and I haven't heard from her since. We've been friends since high school ~ and even though our paths ran different, we always made time to catch up and giggle about good memories and the good things in life. Not having her around anymore is painful. I mean, it's obviously for the best ~ who wants a fair weather friend really ~ but, still. She was my friend for 23 years. You can't just sweep 23 years under a rug and forget about it.
