A few readers have asked me questions and it got me thinking (that's dangerous, I know!!). I'm going to do a blog post called "Fifteen Questions with Freya" and I need your questions. I'll pick the ones that I feel would be the most interesting and enlightening and write a blog post answering those questions. So, ask away!!!

Thank you!!!

Hi Freya, nice to meet you. My question is below.

What makes you feel emotionally safe enough to be vulnerable?
Howdy, @KingKai14!! Interesting question. Hmmm...

I never really thought about it. I'm pretty basic. I'm just the person that I am. But I guess my family makes me feel emotionally safe. My home is truly my "happy place." I'm socially awkward (I'm sure some undiagnosed stuff -- ADD, mild OCD, possibly "on the spectrum" -- whatever), but these things make interacting with people quite a chore. But my family understands that if I'm not talkative, that's just how I am at that moment. If things need to be a certain way, they either accommodate my quirks or just ignore me and let me complain. And that's what makes me feel safe enough to be vulnerable.

What are your hobbies in your free time?
Cool question, @rickinco! Well, if you've ever read any of my work on Literotica (or elsewhere), then you wouldn't be surprised to know that writing porn is a hobby of mine! But besides that, I have recently started collecting silver coins. I think they're pretty, I like that they have an intrinsic value (silver being a precious metal has an actual price, not just the "collector" value of a coin), and it kind of makes me feel like a pirate with treasure!! 😁 And they aren't that expensive. The price of silver has doubled in the last couple of years, but even still, there are plenty of silver coins that you can get for pretty cheap.

And some of them are really neat-looking. Here's one that I'm hoping to pick up when I have a few bucks to spare.

Thanks for the question!!

Thanks for answering! I meant in addition to your fine writing, mmmmmmm! And yes, silver has risen in value but nowhere close to gold. I was a mining museum director and curator before retiring in 2024, so I know all about silver. When I did tours, I usually had a one-ounce piece of silver in my pocket to show visitors the size of an ounce. And when you consider all the rock that has to be mined and then the metal removed, it boggles my mind. Feel free to stay in touch. 😊

That's so interesting! I just Googled it and it says 100-130 pounds of ore to get one troy ounce of silver. WOW!! With the few coins that I have, I have somewhere around 25 ounces of silver. So, almost 1.5 tons of ore to get that much silver! Wow!!!

Some day, I'm hoping to get a gold Krugerrand. Having a gold coin would be neat. And those are the famous ones! Some day. Wish me luck with this!!

Right now up in Cripple Creek the mining company there is blasting a couple of tons of rock to get a quarter ounce of gold. Good luck with obtaining that gold coin, though gold has declined over $1,000 an ounce lately.

Here's one for you, Freya:
What event or person has been most impactful in you becoming (and there's some presumption here on my part) a sexually liberated and empowered woman?

Hi there, I hope you are in good spirits and having a great weekend so far.

What were you looking for when you first joined Literotica and has that now changed into something different?
