Jesus, I spelled "lesbian" wrong. Why didn't somebody tell me?

Sandia, you are asking really good questions. ironically, we are probably the worst people to try to answer them, if you think about it!

I don't think I'd use the term misogyny, but I think you are on to a valid point. Etoile is right that, for the most part, it is the gender bending gays and lesbians who seem to take the brunt of abuse, and I have to think that the reason for that is that their existence is seem by the homophobes as challenges to their own gender identity.
