My theory is that we no longer read, dazzled by all the choices on the ubiquitous big screen television that dominates our living room
(or viewing room, library, bedroom? Maybe that explains falling fertility and birth rates too...).

A big part of a whole generation of American kids can't read cursive which means they cannot read our founding documents. Was this on purpose? Just askin'.
