I'm mostly worried about whether any of the drivers have insurance.

It's like the threat of STDs or pregnancy. It's just a story.

It might be interesting to write it from the perspective of an insurance adjuster though.

I'd be more inclined to look for the fun endings.

The loving wife in my version argues her husband into picking up some young country yokel at a gas station for the rest of the trip. She tells her husband that if he'll agree that she can give the guy road head for the rest of the trip to get the five videos, she promises her husband road head EVERY TIME they get into the car forever after that!

"I promise you a blowjob every time I get in the car. When we get there," she explains to her husband "with five blow job videos, I'll win against those bitches. Then we'll give Leroy a bus ticket back home."
"Bullshit," Frank exclaims. "You won't give me a blowjob EVERY time! You've only ever given me road head three times when we were dating, and NONE in our ten years of marriage!"
"YES, I will!" she says. "I swear to God! I promise, if you let me do this with Leroy, you'll get road head every time I get in the car with you. It's just three blowjobs, and I'll even spit it out the window."

After they see the third woman arrive and the clown car emptying, Frank looks at his astonished wife, saying "Leroy needs a ride to the bus station, so let's give him a ride. I'll drive. Get in the car, dear!"
"What the fuck have I gotten myself into," she thinks, when she sees the smirk on her husband's face.

The story would be called "Road Head Rally" "Sometimes the wife gets TOO competitive!"

EDIT: I wonder if O would appreciate this for the Pink Orchid, a highly competitive wife in charge of her own agency. But I'd need to tone down the husband's directive at the end to "I'll drive. Would you LIKE to come along, dear?"

The only original Beetle I've seen in at least 20 years sat in a tiny little used car dealership where I live. The owner just retired after 50 years, and I'll bet that the Beetle sat in the showroom that entire time.

I saw one today, and another last week. I also saw a hauler last week, or before, with those ugly electric microbus wannabe things, vw is trying to peddle to the foolish masses.
