Yeah--I saw that. But first I have to fix the corner that I managed to write Alex and Eris's tangent into... I think I was entirely too tired to be posting last night

Its 3 a.m. and still I live
a wreath of smoke around my head
and whiskey on my breath.
the bottle lies tipped over, its contents long since drained
dulling my senses
yet sharpening my heart.
all i have to show this night, like so many others
is a drained bottle of whiskey
and an empty pack of fags.
The whiskey doesnt save me,
the fags only kill me.
why is it that i cant resist them?
i spend this night like so many others
in the deep embrace of whiskey
my only true lover,
and bathed in the heat of smoke,
my one constant friend.

What corner, E? That was bound to happen no matter what, because no one saw Mirah leave the building. In fact, no one saw anyone leave the building. Of course no one will know what happened to Mirah. Alex was bound to hit a dead end eventually. The only person who knows where Mirah went is Cris, and by this time he's left the city.
