I just happened upon your thread.... I'm so happy for you both.... what a wonderful feeling you both share...for each other and with us.... I can't describe the feeling I have inside after reading of your love for each other....
I have just started a relationship with a man I met online... he is 5 hours away and after reading your thread.... I've got to get his butt here!!!! We love each other very much and the waiting is hard but so exciting too..... I'll have to keep reading here.... and maybe soon I'll be able to begin my journey too.....

We know the feelings of being away from the one you love for long periods of time. If you want to read great ideas to get through the long time periods of waiting and also get the support of others going through the same things, check out jenny's long distance relationship thread. Although, the thread isnt visited as much as it was anymore since the person who began it isnt in a
LDR anymore, it still give insight to others journey through the experience and liters still give each others support there. Yes, it has been a journey for us, a relationship which started in lit chat, moved to jenny;s poems and stories,then to the boards, then to our meeting in person, her doing her green acres impersonation moving from manhattan to omaha and finally becoming engaged new years day this year. Saying YES to you at the very beginning of this year was the wisest move I've ever made (other than the actual move here to be with you).:heart:

Your love, support and understanding is amazing to me, and you have allowed me to learn to trust my heart, and you, to take care of me when things look grim.

You have taught me first-hand that we can have differences and still share genuine love and happiness (you, rooting for the Cardinals, and me, rooting for the Mets!).;)

BTW, I think I'll win the family baseball pool this year!:p
