I'm Thankful For....

We don't have it in Britland, but I consider myself an honourary Statesider, so we celebrate. In our own way. Last Saturday we had friends and some family over for a pseudo-thanksgiving dinner. It was great, food and company.

I will never be able to express fully what Lit did for me at a crucial time in my life. What I will say is that this site, of all places, gave me validation as a person, through my thoughts and writings.

It also gave me the chance to travel and meet a whole bunch of wonderful people, putting the Litogether into operation.

But best of all, it brought me the love of my life. Without Lit we would never have met, never have fallen in love. We've had to jump through a hell of a lot of hoops to be together, in the beautiful place we are now, but it was worth it.

Thank you Lit and everyone who sails in her!!

Neither I nor anyone else could have said it better, and I echo much of your sentiments.

From an American, I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.

;)

I believe in life we are givin two families, the one we are born to and the one we choose...

I am thankful for the lessons my givin family has taught me, and the strength I have earned to over come a few of those same lessons...

I am thankful for the family I have chosen, for they all are a strength I could not do with out. They help keep me saine and make me laugh when nothing else will...

And I am thankful for Literotica, my father told me about this site and now, both he and I write. I tend to learn more about myself by writing, and thanks to my stories (and others i have read) I have learned alot about myself...

So thank you fellow lit authors and I hope you all have a wonderful , love filled Thanksgiving with your family, which ever you choose :D

I am thankful to my 'family'

Like someone else mentioned... we are born with a family... but our soul eventually finds the one that we were meant to have.

It's those people... at some of the hardest most painful times in my life that you have been there for me.

Thank you

I'm thankful for the close handful of friends who are a much needed respite from life, who are always willing to pick me up, make me laugh and allow me to ask stupid things!:D

I'm thankful for the beautiful little girl sitting in the other room who thinks the best thing in the world is a hug from Santa Claus.

Thankful for a husband who puts up with the drama that follows me where ever I try and hide and he hasn't run screaming yet! ;)

And for the friends I have made on lit who keep me entertained.

The fact that I still have sight in my right eye and that sometime next year I will hopefully have 20/20 in my eye again

Thanks for putting it all into perspective, y'all.:kiss:

I'm thankful for a lot, but what I want to say HERE is that I'm thankful for the love I've found here from a number of easy sources. I say easy because it seems like I should have had to work harder for it. Instead, it's just been there for the taking. Always.

I wish love and health and lots of turkey and punkin pie to you all.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm thankful for Mat for helping to organise the Bournemouth meet and pleased that she has found the love of her life.

I'm thankful for Lit for giving me a place to write interminably and actually get responses to my writing.

We don't do Thanksgiving at my house (being wacky foreigners and all), but I have many things to be thankful for nonetheless.

I'm thankful for people cared nothing for me stepping out before I had the strength to shake them off. I'm thankful for true friends and true love despite my mistakes. I'm thankful for my health, especially after a few scares this year. Finally, in these uncertain time, I'm very glad I have a job and that I make enough to support the family now that my dad lost his.

I'm thankful that I was finally able to step outside of myself far enough to really see where the choices I was making were going to lead, and that my husband was patient enough to help me to find a more fruitful path.

I'm eternally thankful that we have been able to build such an amazing life together. Four years ago I never would have thought that I would be able to be in this place, at this moment, with someone who truly loves me for the crazy woman that I am.

I am thankful for

Being here to spend another Thanksgiving with my family. It has been a long hard road this year and so busy with treatments that it doesn't seem like the holidays should be here yet, but they are and so am I.
