Good morning to you all over there!

My day so far has been great! Morning was off to a great start before we got out of bed. A nice breakfast before we went to a Christmas market by a Castle.
I've just got home again and is now dressed in only my long Johns and Merino Jersey. It was quite cold since most of the market was outside. I didn't freeze but It's nice to be inside again. I had several layers of clothes to keep warm.

So following on from last nights comments on the weather. It’s in our news today we had the hottest spring on record.
First day of summer and the daytime temp was 39°C /. 103°F.

Layers are the way to go, I wear 2 pair of pants where I go

Only in extreme times

The front of the legs would get covered in salt as I used to spread it from a bucket, "feeding the chickens" style. It would melt any snow that got on them then freeze again. They stood on their own.

I would take it all off at once suit of armor style
