Right now i feel kinda disgusted with myself.....like utterly disgusted how shallow i've allowed myself to become.

yesterday I went on a date with this guy...it well great; ya know awesome conversation, get along, smart, makes me laugh and above all treats me so good i feel spoiled.

but theres a hiccup....there always is

i've never dated a chubby guy. i know he lost something like 120 pounds and all (very awesome btw) but does it make me superficial that i can't help wishing he had a better physique?

and that makes me a pathetic person, i never though i could be this shallow...

I hate myself.

I think its only natural. Human beings crave perfection, or at least we should. If we didn't, I think the world would be a bad place.
Here in exists the problem, perfection is not natural, therefore it does not exist. Not that we've found yet anyways.
So, I think the thing you have to do, is think and fight yourself to come to a decision about this guy, he sounds like a lovely bloke, and perhaps you should try and look passed his physical being for the moment, at least untill you are ready to make a decision about a possible future relationship with him.
The most important thing to do though, is not hate yourself, hate clouds a pure mind, and you won't be able to think or feel straight if all you keep doing is thinking of how shallow you are.
Thats my two bobs anyway =] hehe.

Well we are full of emotions aren't we ? And I've always found that its better to say it to someone than keeping it bottled up if you can't handle it, who knows you might get good advise or even if you don't get it, it does feel better
