Yes, I didn't like that stuff either, I told him several times.
But I felt that it wasn't from his core, he Could be trained.
You know who are the most malignant homophobes or racists on this site?
I certainly do, and most of them are loud virtue signallers.
My experience of being thought of as an Indian female impersonator gave me good insights.

IR had a good fund of knowlege in philosophy and social sciences, and she would often recommend some pretty edgy avant-guarde websites or interviews. It was good to be kept informed .
But yes, she did make some racists comments about African-Americans.
Ironically tho, she always treated me (And Zumi too) as equals.
Unlike those who kept accusing her of racism - their xenopobia, American exceptionalism (BND, LTR and such) or British arrogance (Des) were oozing from their pores.

Time for bragging: Yeah, I'm the official GB DollParts.
But when it comes to Philosophy I can tell you off the bat who's trying to impress but doesn't have substance, and who isn't. I've been reading this shit for more than 20 years.
IR didn't have the base, but she had the inquisitive mind and creativity. She came up with original ideas that none of us could think of.
It was a great mix, listening to her, then HA's insights into human nature, your and Rob's and AJ's other skills.
Y'all completed each other.

I tend to agree with this assessment, in all honesty. I appreciated her intellectual curiosity and passion for the subject matter, but she could have benefited from a formal--or at least more structured--education.

LJ is great too.
If you go beyond his "Feminists suck" shtick and engage on a 1:1, you'll find an accomplished and nuanced person.
He introduced us to concepts we wouldn't have known otherwise, like the horseshoe theory.
