Bruce Wayne was dead, by natural circumstances..or that's what the doctors had said. He had been pretty old though and the last time Allison had seen him, he was in a wheelchair using a breathing tube. It was probably natural circumstances, for what else could it be? What was in the will had been the strange circumstance. In his will, it stated that 'Allison Wayne great granddaughter to the multi-millionare Bruce Wayne was to inherit the Wayne mansion and all that was in it.'
Not that Allison minded becoming rich. Her father had gambled away his inheritance at the age of 18, so it wasn't like Allison had grown up with the rich and the famous. In fact, most of her life no one believed she was even related to Bruce Wayne. She'd always been the outcast.
She didn't mind that either because she'd been a loner most of her highschool years. Her parents said she took after her great grandfather, so it was a huge blow to the gut when he died. They'd been close..or at least, as close as her great grandfather would allow it.
She'd also inherited Wayne Industries. She wasn't quite sure how to take all that. She was only 19 almost 20 and already she'd become a multi millionaire. "Fred!" She called to the newest addition to the house keeping service. He'd been there for about a year now, "Fred, w-where are you?" she asked, as she passed by random areas of the mansion, places she hadn't yet explored. The basement was basically it.
Her grandfather, hell even her grand father never let her go in there, they always said there were things down there that she was too young to know about. When she was a kid, she just assumed it was haunted and when she got older, she'd joked about there being stripper poles down there.
Now, she owned the place and could do whatever she wanted. It was highly unlikely Fred was down there but then again the light was on. Biting her lip, Allison wandered down the steps and opened the steel door. Her eyes widened at the sights, the security cameras took alot more videos of just the front of the house. That was ALL of Gotham City and... there was a bat suit. She'd heard famous stories about Batman but she never imagined that she would be related to him.
And she only figured this because of the picture of Batman sitting on the table.
"Well, definitely not stripper poles." She whispered
"Ms. Wayne." came the middle aged butler's voice.
She whirled around, "Fred, what is this?"
And then came the long retelling about Batman, how because of her dad's irresponsibility towards taking care of his family had squandered his chances and that her grandfather's dying wish was to see Gotham City with a hero once more even if that meant, Allison being it, being Batman.
Apparently, her grand father been preparing for this early on because the bat suit was not even made for a man, it was custom made for a female, with exactly her measurements.
Without warning, a radio call phoned in. Apparently, there was some crazy guy on the lose and apparently, they weren't talking to Batman nor were they talking to her but to the police station. Her grandfather had tapped the police station's radio.
Pulling on the leather suit which outlined her body accentuating her curves in all the right places, she looked in the mirror, her eyes creased with worry. "It'll be fine Miss Wayne." Fred said handing her a mask.
"If I don't come back, Fred. Tell dad I love him, even if he is a screw up and if I do...well, nevermind..I'll flip dad off myself."
