Introduction to an Enigma

I was actually referring to Lillian Jackson Braun who writes the "Cat Who..." series. It's a series of murder mysteries. Two of the main characters are siamese cats who manage to help their person solve mysteries. They're grand books if you want to try a new author.

I got to meet Anne McCaffrey in person! And her son Todd and a few other family members. I just adore the lot of them. Very nice people. She's been my favorite author since 7th grade. Hehe. Alas, she will probably not ever be "in public" again due to her health. <sniffles>

In that case I've read ALL of The Cat Who series! LOL!

It's great that you got to meet McCaffrey. I figured her health was declining. I'm sorry to hear it though.

I will always regret that I didn't find a way to see my favorite storyteller a few months before she died. I never got to see her in person. Fortunatly, she was one of the few who shine through even on vid and audio.
