Is it odd that a woman likes to read and gets off on man on man sex stories? I love reading them on this site and others and my husband says its strange and it disturbs him. Im just wondering if im weird for liking them. Please let me know what you think. Any and all comments welcome!

There is nothing wrong with that.......all you doing is reading a story that gets you going........Seeing it live is another story........Now that is very hot..........I have seen that a few times, and WOW what that does to me.

Deffinatley sexy ... I don't think it's odd.

My ex used to say (about two men being together) if they are ugly then it's disgusting, if they are good looking then it's a waste.

Narrow minded she was, in more then just sexual views. Now I have a wife who supports my interest in men, as seen here:

I don't think it's "odd" at all..........depends on the way you view it I guess, which is the whole point.

I really enjoy stories with men in them......it turns me on. I especially liked hearing about my husband's experience of receiving anal sex with a man recently :D

In my world, it's rather common.

For me personally, the guys are better looking than in straight vids, and unlike straight vids, it at least looks like people are enjoying it. Additionally, straight vids are made for males who view women in a way that isn't a turn on for me. Gay porn does away with women, so I don't have to be subjected to the stereotypes that bother me. Not to say there aren't stereotypes in gay porn, it's just they don't represent me, so don't bother me.

Plus the sex is hot and raw :D

Thanks to everyone who has posted so far, I really appreciate it. I have already explained to my husband more than once that while its an awesome fantasy that he be with another guy, I know he is so homophobic that it would never happen and thats ok. As for watching Queer As Folk, I have watched it and loved the show. Unfortunately my husband walked in on me watching it and told me I had a disgusting sex drive. So....needless to say i havent watched it after that. But, anyway, thanks for all the support, I dont feel weird anymore now that I know im not the only female who enjoys m/m sex stories. :D

Well if you and your husband are looking for a bi male, I am up for it.....no pun intended

Hi Trish, Hi DonnaBear. Just bumping to show off my avatar now that I've gotten my 100.

ha ha!

My partner would say yes, it's fucked that the only porn I like is gay porn. That I spend way too much time surfing porn on the 'net, and that I'm continually trying to get him to let me fuck him. I suppose when we got together 4+ years ago, he didn't understand the extent of my peculiar tastes.

I am ftm trans, post-possibley never op, but I identify as a gay male. Gay porn is the only thing I get off on, as far as porn goes. And my thoughts during sex go on auto pilot and I find myself always mentally playing the part of the 'bottom' guy. Matter of fact, when I cyber I always present myself as male, and same with the r/p.

Although my partner tries to come to terms with, or at least tries to judge my 'quirkiness' less, I do know, him being quite hetero, it bugs him. I hate feeling like I must repress who I am for his comfort, but as it is for now, I'm alot more able to bend to his comfort zone than he to mine.

But no, I don't think it's weird at all. To me there is nothing hotter than 2 guys..or 3...mmm

I think it's really cewl and I'd like to meet a woman like you. My gay side is a big part of my fantasy life and I've tried talking about it with a couple of chat/pen girl friends thinking it would turn them on, but it turned them right off. I'd love to meet a woman I can share that with.

I'm kind of late to the party so I'll just say that my favourite erotic author, Emma Holly, is partly my favourite because she almost always has some M/M love in her books usually culminating into the perfect MFM.

Yay for gay porn!

There is nothing "odd" about that at all. What you like to read or watch can be very different than what you want to act out in real life. And who cares anyway? You like what you like. I am a straight female and am turned on by all kinds of things including reading about or watching FF and MM sex. And i agree with the people here that say it is a far more common fantasy to like MM than you might think.

It's too bad your husband has such a problem with it! He should just respect what you like and not worry or put you down.

I will now disagree with everyone on this thread so far: yes, it is 'odd' that a woman finds m/m stories sexy. It is also 'odd' that men find f/f stories sexy. Note that 'odd' does not mean 'wrong' or 'bad'. It is not unnatural, and I in no way believe that you should not enjoy these stories.

I have, however, often speculated on the subject of why men enjoy lesbian porn, especially extremely heterosexual 'manly' males. I came up with two theories. The first, I think, would not explain why women (in general) would find m/m porn sexy. The second, however, might.

Theory 1: It all comes down to sex and friendship. When we see people we are forced to pay attention to, we usually evaluate them in terms of what sort of relationship we would like to have with them: friendly or sexual (generalisation, I know, but true at a very basic level). Much of the time (but not always) people will choose masculine friends if they consider themselves to be masculine and feminine friends if they feel themselves to be feminine. Hence, many straight women love 'Queer Eye' because they would choose to socialise with, say, Carson The Queen Of The Fairies. Similarly, many straight men would choose to associate with butch lesbians.

However, when pornography is produced by the opposite gender to the one featured (lesbians for men and gay men for women) the women are feminine and the men are masculine. Hence, no matter what their sexual orientation, straight men will find the women attractive and straight women will find the men attractive. This is even more so the case with pornography rather than erotic stories, as we have no other way to evaluate the participants but sexually.

In fact, I'm not sure that this in anyway conflicts with the more simplistic point 2...

Theory 2: Sex is the ultimate turn-on. Sex makes people want to have sex. So, gay porn is essentially sex where you find both people attractive, rather than just one (assuming that the viewer is exclusively heterosexual, of course.) Which makes it twice the turn-on.

Have a nice day!

One more thought I have on this... for me, it's interesting to see something different. I have only had hetero sex with one man at a time thus far in my life. So to me, to see that in porn is OK, and can be arousing if the scene are people are appealing, but seeing f/f, m/m, or three or more people having sex turns me on because it is different than I experience in real life.
