Is it undomly to own a cat?

How Many Dogs Does It Take to Change A Light Bulb?

Golden Retriever:
The sun is shining, the day is young, we've got our whole lives ahead of us, and you're inside worrying about a stupid burned out bulb?

Border Collie:
Just one. And then I'll replace any wiring that's not up to code.

Dachshund:
You know I can't reach that stupid lamp!

Rottweiler:
Make me.

Boxer:
Who cares? I can still play with my squeaky toys in the dark.

Lab:
Oh, me, me!!!!! Pleeeeeeeeeze let me change the light bulb! Can I? Can I? Huh? Huh? Huh? Can I? Pleeeeeeeeeze, please, please, please!

German Shepherd:
I'll change it as soon as I've led these people from the dark, check to make sure I haven't missed any, and make just one more perimeter patrol to see that no one has tried to take advantage of the situation.

Jack Russell Terrier:
I'll just pop it in while I'm bouncing off the walls and furniture.

Old English Sheep Dog:
Light bulb? I'm sorry, but I don't see a light bulb!

Cocker Spaniel:
Why change it? I can still pee on the carpet in the dark.

Chihuahua:
Yo quiero Taco Bulb.

Pointer:
I see it, there it is, there it is, right there.....

Greyhound:
It isn't moving. Who cares?

Australian Shepherd:
First, I'll put all the light bulbs in a little circle...

Poodle:
I'll just blow in the Border Collie's ear and he'll do it. By the time he finishes rewiring the house, my nails will be dry.

Cat:
Dogs do not change light bulbs. People change light bulbs. So, the real question is: How long will it be before I can expect some light, some dinner, and a massage?

*tears* Marquis you KNOW I have problems falling asleep.... *sob*

hehe, my original wiseass remark was to tell you to buy a few bottles of "Raid" if you have that many little unwanted guests. :D ewwwwwww!! do your dishes, man! Messiness is a discusting habit. ;)

Well yes it is

This is too easy and if I get crticized, perhaps I deserve it. But shouldn't every Dom own a pussy?

She doesn't change my sleeping habits, disrupt my normal routine or drive me to bankruptcy. We share a few minutes in the morning and evening, she can sleep by my feet if my girlfriend doesn't stay over, but she doesn't monopolize my time. She might walk by a few times, mewing or purring, wanting to be held. But I give her a few petting strokes, talk to her for a few seconds...then I turn back to what I was doing. She quietly accepts it and goes on her way.

So is it undomly to own a cat? Would it be more domly to own a dog or a reptile?
I ment to put this in my first post. Your cat sounds like a submissive pet I once knew

i don't think it is at all unDOMly or unmanly to own a cat.

Master has a cat and He is far from unDOMly and certainly not even close to fitting the description of being unMANly, either.

i could swear, at times, that cat is almost as sadistic as He is ! The cat loves to spring out from behind doors and sofas and proceed to attack my ankles each morning as i wander sleepily into our kitchen in search of my coffee. Last night as i lay in bed reading, the cat, totally unprovoked swiped one of my fingers with a sharp claw and drew blood. The cut has been causing me pain all day. i can't move my feet at all once i get into bed or the cat bites and scratches my legs and feet, too. Master finds it entertaining and humourous to watch.

Master also has retiles: 4 burmese pythons (the largest is 16 feet in length and weighs almost as much as i). He also has an eight year old rosey legged tarantula.

He surprised me with a new addition to our collection of pets as i arrived home from work last Thursday evening. He told me to close my eyes and then led me by the hand to our bedroom. Upon being instructed to open my eyes, i found sleeping on our bed ... a 10 week old black lab puppy. HE is so sweeeeeeeeet!! And the puppy is too, of course.

Just about all of the Dommes I have been involved with have had cats, either exclusively or among other animals.

So no, it's not undomly - just unmanly. :catroar:

I wouldn't bet money you can't afford to lose on that one... I rather miss my tomcat ..He and I had much the same personality...
